Vientos went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Atlanta.

Vientos followed up Saturday's two-homer game with a two-run blast in the second inning to give the Mets a 2-0 lead. The 25-year-old is in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak that's produced five home runs, two doubles and 11 RBI. For the year, he's slashing .238/.284/.412 with 12 long balls, 43 RBI and 31 runs scored across 349 plate appearances.

Mullins went 1-for-2 with a walk, one run scored and two stolen bases in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Atlanta. He was also hit by a pitch.

Mullins was a steady presence Sunday, reaching base three times and recording multiple steals for the first time in a Mets uniform. The 30-year-old has now hit safely in six of his last seven games, posting three extra-base hits, two RBI, three runs scored and three stolen bases in that span. Since joining New York on Aug. 1, he's slashing .242/.338/.379 with one homer, six RBI, 10 runs scored and five steals across 77 plate appearances.

The Pirates claimed Kriedler off waivers from the Tigers on Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Indianapolis.

The 27-year-old Kreidler is capable of playing multiple infield and outfield spots, but he's slashed just .138/.208/.176 over 211 plate appearances across parts of four seasons in the majors with the Tigers. He'll report to the minors with his new organization but could be a candidate for a call-up when Pittsburgh's active roster expands to 28 men Sept. 1.

Peterson did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Atlanta, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks with eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Peterson cruised through five innings before allowing four baserunners and two runs in the sixth. The southpaw piled up 20 whiffs on 98 pitches and has now delivered back-to-back solid outings after being tagged for six runs by Atlanta on Aug. 13. He'll take a 3.18 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 135:55 K:BB across 150 innings into a home matchup with the Marlins next weekend.

Betts went 3-for-4 with a walk and one run scored in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Padres.

Betts has logged multiple hits eight times over his last 17 games, and he's added a 7:4 BB:K in that span to help his turnaround at the plate. However, over six contests versus the Padres in that stretch, Betts went a modest 5-for-21 (.238), so it's mildly concerning that he's having trouble against the Dodgers' main competition for the NL West lead. Sunday's effort lifted Betts' slash line to .248/.318/.371 through 120 contests this season.

Elder did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Mets, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

Elder surrendered a two-run homer in the second inning but bounced back with four scoreless frames to close out his outing. The 26-year-old has been inconsistent in August, logging three quality starts while giving up 13 runs across his other two appearances. He'll take a 6.12 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 96:45 K:BB over 117.2 innings into a road matchup with the Phillies next weekend.

Rushing went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Padres.

Rushing was 0-for-9 with four strikeouts over his previous four games. He broke the slump in the seventh inning, putting the Dodgers ahead for good when he took Jeremiah Estrada deep. Rushing is up to three homers, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and three doubles while slashing .187/.246/.299 over 118 plate appearances. He continues to serve as the backup to Will Smith behind the plate.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Padres.

Ohtani provided some insurance with a homer in the ninth inning. After missing one game due to a bruised thigh, Ohtani had a quiet weekend series versus the Padres -- his homer Sunday was his lone hit over 11 at-bats across the last three games. He's still batting .342 (26-for-76) with seven homers and 11 RBI over 21 contests in August. For the season, he's at 45 homers, 84 RBI, 122 runs scored, 17 stolen bases and a .280/.389/.619 slash line in 128 contests.

Iglesias earned the save in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Mets, allowing one run on three hits in the ninth inning. He did not record a walk or strikeout.

Iglesias was tasked with protecting a two-run lead in the ninth and held on despite giving up three straight one-out singles. It marked the first time the veteran closer has allowed a run in his past 14 outings, and he's now converted 11 straight save chances dating back to July 28. On the year, he's 22-for-27 in save opportunities with a 3.95 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 58:10 K:BB across 54.2 innings.

Marchan went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and three RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Nationals.

Marchan drove in all of the Phillies' runs, delivering a two-run double in the second inning before working a bases-loaded walk in the third. It marked a rare bright spot in what's been a tough season for the backup catcher, who's slashing .183/.280/.256 with one homer, nine RBI and six runs scored across 94 plate appearances.
