Matthew Liberatore SP | STL
Cardinals' Matthew Liberatore: Blanks Cleveland for sixth win
Liberatore (6-6) earned the win Sunday over the Guardians, allowing three hits and five walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out five.
Liberatore struggled with his command a bit, issuing a season-high five walks, though he was able to keep Cleveland off the board en route to a third straight win and quality start. The 25-year-old Liberatore lowered his ERA to 3.70 on the season with a 1.16 WHIP and 76:17 K:BB across 16 starts (92.1 innings). The left-hander is currently scheduled to face the division-leading Cubs on the road in his next outing.

Will Benson RF | CIN
Reds' Will Benson: Plates game-winning run
Benson went 3-for-4 with a double, one RBI and one run scored in Sunday's 3-2 victory over the Padres.
The Cincinnati outfielder ripped an RBI single off San Diego closer Robert Suarez in the ninth for the walk-off win. The single also allowed Benson to secure his first three-hit game since May 18 against Cleveland. Since that date, Benson had struggled to a .163/.240/.233 slash line across 100 plate appearances prior to this contest, so perhaps this performance can turn around his fortunes. The 27-year-old is on the strong side of a platoon in right field with Rece Hinds and is now slashing .233/.299/.433 across 137 total plate appearances.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Padres' Xander Bogaerts: Swats homer, two doubles
Bogaerts went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two doubles in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Reds.
Bogaerts notched his second homer of the month when he popped a 389-foot solo shot off Cincinnati starter Nick Lodolo in the fourth. The San Diego shortstop also roped his 16th and 17th two-baggers of the season in this contest to tally his fourth performance with three or more hits in June. Through 327 total plate appearances, Bogaerts is slashing .251/.327/.362 with five homers, 13 steals, 35 runs scored and 30 RBI.

Robert Suarez RP | ATL
Padres' Robert Suarez: Melts down in blown save
Suarez (2-4) blew the save and took the loss in Sunday's 3-2 game at Cincinnati. He allowed two runs on four hits and one walk in one-third of an inning.
Things went awry off the bat for Suarez when Elly De La Cruz opened the ninth with an infield single. After Spencer Steer drove De La Cruz home on a single to knot the contest at 2-2, Will Benson eventually walked off the Padres by roping a single to right field with the bases loaded. This snaps a stretch of eight consecutive converted saves for Suarez that he achieved over 15 appearances. Across 34.2 total frames, Suarez has pitched to a 3.89 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 36:12 K:BB while going 23-for-26 on save chances.

Stephen Kolek SP | KC
Padres' Stephen Kolek: Fans five in no-decision
Kolek allowed one run on three hits and one walk over 5.2 frames in a no-decision Sunday at Cincinnati. He struck out five.
After coughing up three or more earned runs in each of his three previous starts, Kolek looked much sharper in this 71-pitch outing over which he fired 44 strikes. The San Diego right-hander scattered three singles, with the only run he conceded coming on an Elly De La Cruz single in the sixth inning. Kolek wraps up his June with a respectable 3.38 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB across 32 total frames. The 28-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Rangers at home next weekend.

Nick Lodolo SP | CIN
Reds' Nick Lodolo: Concedes one run in no-decision
Lodolo did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 3-2 win over San Diego, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks over 5.1 innings with five strikeouts.
The Cincinnati southpaw entered this contest amidst a rocky stretch, pitching to a 5.49 ERA across 19.2 frames in June, but he managed to contain the Padres lineup in his hitter-friendly home park. The lone blemish on Lodolo's line came in the fourth inning, when he allowed a solo homer to Xander Bogaerts. Through 94.2 total innings, Lodolo sports a 3.52 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 85:20 K:BB while yielding 13 long balls. He currently lines up to make his next start in a difficult matchup at Philadelphia next weekend.

Edgardo Henriquez RP | LAD
Dodgers' Edgardo Henriquez: Activated, heads to Triple-A
The Dodgers reinstated Henriquez (foot) from the 60-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Henriquez had been stuck on the IL all season while recovering from a metatarsal injury to his left foot, but he was cleared to begin a minor-league assignment May 29 and appears to have emerged from his 30-day rehab period in sound health. The Dodgers don't have room for the 23-year-old righty in the big-league bullpen, so he'll stick around at Oklahoma City, where he had made all 12 of his rehab appearances while logging a 6.75 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB in 12 innings.

Noah Davis SP | PIT
Dodgers' Noah Davis: Called up Sunday
The Dodgers recalled Davis from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
The right-hander was optioned to Oklahoma City in early June after a one-day stint in the majors, but he'll rejoin the big club for Sunday's series finale in Kansas City. Across his three stints in the big leagues this season, Davis has given up three earned runs with a 5:2 K:BB over 4.2 innings.

Tyler Freeman RF | COL
Rockies' Tyler Freeman: Tossed from Sunday's contest
Freeman went 0-for-1 with a walk before he was ejected after the top of the third inning of Sunday's game against the Brewers for arguing balls and strikes, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Freeman took issue with a called third strike during his second plate appearance of the day and was tossed from the game along with Rockies interim manager Warren Schaeffer, who left the dugout to jaw at the home plate umpire. Sam Hilliard took over in right field in the bottom of the third inning in place of Freeman, who isn't expected to face any discipline from MLB due to his ejection. Expect Freeman to be back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener versus the Astros at Coors Field.
