Manager Clayton McCullough said that the Marlins were set to decide Sunday whether Conine (shoulder) would be activated from the 60-day injured list for the final week of the regular season, MLB.com reports.

McCullough didn't tip his hand regarding the Marlins' plans for Conine, but the 28-year-old did his best during his recent minor-league rehab assignment to demonstrate that he had made a full recovery from the surgery he required in late April to address a dislocated left shoulder. Over nine games at Triple-A Jacksonville, Conine slashed .292/.514/.583 with two home runs and an 11:9 BB:K. He saw three starts in left field, three in right field and three as a designated hitter during his rehab assignment.

Turner (hamstring) could be activated from the 10-day injured list Friday ahead of the final series of the regular season against the Twins, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Turner is progressing well from a right hamstring strain and will face live pitching Tuesday and Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park. If that goes well, he appears likely to rejoin the Phillies' active roster Friday. The 32-year-old has been sidelined for the past two weeks of action.

Marlins manager Clayton McCullough confirmed that Cabrera (elbow) will return from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game in Philadelphia, MLB.com reports.

Cabrera looked to be at risk of missing the rest of the season after he was placed on the IL on Sept. 1 due to a right elbow sprain, but he ramped up quickly during his throwing program and now has a chance to make two starts in the final week of the 2025 campaign. Though he didn't head out on a minor-league rehab assignment while he's been on the shelf, Cabrera was able to build up to 50 pitches in a simulated game last Wednesday and reportedly touched 97 miles per hour with his fastball. He'll likely be operating on a limited pitch count Tuesday, though if he's able to retire Phillies batters in efficient fashion, he could reach the five innings he would need to hit to qualify for a win.

Tucker (calf) has yet to resume running on his current rehab program and is not expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list until at least Wednesday, Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.

Tucker was sent to Florida last week for alternative treatment on his left calf strain. He's been hitting and has gone through multiple physical therapy sessions as he struggles to get over the hump in his recovery. He will rejoin the Cubs on Monday and be reevaluated Tuesday, though manager Craig Counsell indicated Tucker is unlikely to play Tuesday versus the Mets. The 28-year-old outfielder has not played since Sept. 2, and a target date for his return to the active roster remains murky.

Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer, a double, a stolen base and an additional RBI in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Phillies.

Carroll blasted a 428-foot shot off Ranger Suarez in the second inning, marking his 31st homer of the year, while stealing second in the sixth to reach his 30th stolen base, making him the first player in Diamondbacks history to record a 30-30 season. Carroll has been scorching at the plate of late, logging at least one hit in eight of his last nine games while producing a .985 OPS during that stretch. The 25-year-old outfielder is now up to a .260/.340/.546 slash line with 31 doubles, 17 triples, 83 RBI and 106 runs scored across 624 plate appearances this season and will look to continue producing at an elite level, as the Diamondbacks are on the cusp of a playoff berth.

Hurt (elbow) pitched a perfect inning in relief for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, finishing a seven-appearance minor-league rehab stint during which he posted a 1.93 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB over 9.1 innings.

Hurt underwent Tommy John surgery last July, so his ability to get into more than a handful of contests at the end of this season is a big positive in itself. The right-hander fared pretty well overall during his rehab assignment, which has come to its conclusion with the end of the Triple-A campaign Sunday. At this point it's unclear if the Dodgers are considering activating Hurt for a final-week look in the big-league bullpen, though the team's relief corps has been pretty shaky of late, so such a decision isn't unfeasible.

Stewart (shoulder) will join the Dodgers in Arizona on their upcoming road trip and could be activated as soon as Tuesday, Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA reports.

Stewart hasn't made a major-league appearance since Aug. 9, but he's three games into a minor-league rehab stint with Triple-A Oklahoma City that began Sept. 16. In those three outings, the veteran reliever has allowed four runs -- all unearned -- on three hits with a 3:2 K:BB over 2.2 innings. The Dodgers' big-league bullpen has struggled of late, so the team could give Stewart a chance to compete for a spot on the playoff roster with a couple appearances over the final week of the regular season.

Sasaki (shoulder) will join the Dodgers in Arizona during their upcoming road trip and could be activated off the IL to join the big-league bullpen, though he won't be available to pitch until at least Wednesday, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

Sasaki recently shifted to a relief role in his rehab stint and has looked great through two subsequent outings with Triple-A Oklahoma City, tossing a pair of hitless and scoreless frames while posting a 3:1 K:BB. Since his most recent appearance took place Sunday, the Dodgers won't put him on the mound again until at least Wednesday, but even in that scenario he'd still have time to make a couple major-league appearances before the end of the regular season if he's activated. Los Angeles' bullpen has been its weak point of late, so the team could look to Sasaki to shore up what has been an inconsistent relief corps, though that would be a risk in itself since the rookie hurler has (until the recent pair of rehab outings) worked exclusively as a starter throughout his professional career, both in the US and in his native Japan.

Cortes (biceps) will toss another sim game early in the coming week, per MLB.com.

Cortes' most recent sim game, which took place Friday, lasted two innings and went well, according to Padres manager Mike Shildt. The team nonetheless wants the veteran lefty to throw to hitters one more time before potentially returning to the big-league club. That would still give Cortes a chance of being activated from the IL before the end of the regular season, though that likely wouldn't happen until near the end of the coming week.

Rodriguez (9-8) earned the win Sunday against the Phillies, allowing six hits and three walks while striking out five over six scoreless innings.

The veteran southpaw allowed at least one baserunner in every frame but consistently worked around trouble to preserve the clean outing. Rodriguez has now won four of his last five starts, posting a 1.84 ERA and 21:12 K:BB across 29.1 innings during that span, including three scoreless performances. The 32-year-old will carry the momentum into his next scheduled outing against San Diego, a pivotal one for Arizona as they enter the final week of the season with legitimate playoff hopes.
