Gusto took a no-decision against the Nationals on Monday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Gusto threw four shutout innings before running into trouble in the fifth, when he was chased from the outing after recording one out in the frame. The Marlins have continually shown a lack of willingness to let the right-hander work deep into starts, as Gusto has pitched into the sixth inning just twice in 14 starts. He's slated to wrap up a two-start week over the weekend against the Cubs, holding a 3.86 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 57:20 K:BB over 67.2 innings.

The Rockies are expected to recall Amador from Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday when rosters expand, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.

Amador will provide Colorado with more infield depth once the move becomes official ahead of Tuesday's matchup against Baltimore. He spent five games with the Rockies earlier in the year, going 3-for-10 with one home run, six RBI and five runs.

Bregman went 3-for-6 with three home runs and four total RBI in Monday's 17-3 win over the Brewers.

Bregman wrapped up a strong month with another monster performance. The veteran third baseman matched his career high of three home runs in a game, tying the mark he set just 19 days ago. Overall in August, Bregman recorded 12 long balls and 30 RBI while posting a robust 1.025 OPS across 28 contests. The 32-year-old's slow start to his first campaign with the Cubs feels like a distant memory at this point, and Bregman appears poised to be an offensive force in the final month of the regular season.

Dion took a no-decision against the Marlins on Monday, allowing no runs on two hits and one walk in three innings. He struck out one.

Making his first career major-league start Monday, Dion fared as well as the Nationals could have hoped for. It was somewhat surprising to see the left-hander be lifted after throwing just 37 pitches (26 strikes), considering he's tossed as many as 64 for Washington this season. He's set to finish a two-start week this weekend against the Dodgers in Los Angeles, where he'll bring a strong 3.38 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 42:10 K:BB over 37.1 innings.

Morales will have his contract selected from Triple-A Rochester prior to Tuesday's game against Atlanta, Yordano Carmona of Pelota Cubana USA reports.

Morales has put together a strong campaign at Triple-A, where he's hitting .286 with 25 home runs, 76 RBI, six stolen bases and 82 runs over 104 games. The 24-year-old's promotion will be made official Tuesday when rosters expand. Morales made 47 starts at first base, 40 starts at the hot corner and 17 starts as the designated hitter for the Red Wings this season, so he'll likely have a few different paths to playing time with the Nationals.

Watson (oblique) was activated from the 60-day injured list Thursday.

Watson, who landed on the injured list in May due to an oblique injury, wrapped up a rehab assignment with High-A Brooklyn on Aug. 21 and has since returned to Double-A Binghamton. He's struggled at Double-A so far this season, accruing a 7.83 ERA and 1.78 WHIP with a 21:14 K:BB across 23.0 innings.

Serrano (shoulder) was activated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Serrano ended up missing just over 10 weeks after picking up a shoulder strain in mid June. He reported to Double-A Binghamton following his activation and is 5-for-20 with two home runs and five RBI in five games since his return.

Hassell (undisclosed) has gone 5-for-14 with two doubles, one walk, two stolen bases, three RBI and three runs in four games for Triple-A Indianapolis since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Wednesday.

The 25-year-old outfielder has spent time at three levels since joining the Pirates organization in a July 16 trade, slashing .256/.373/.326 with three stolen bases over 12 contests.

Lovelady (triceps) pitched in a bridge game Friday, MLB.com reports.

Lovelady has been on the injured list since June 29 due to a left triceps strain but has since been cleared to face live hitters. The Nationals haven't been eager to lay out a timeline for the southpaw's return, though he'll seemingly be activated from the IL at some point during the final month of the regular season.

Carrigg is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

The Rockies will keep Carrigg on the bench for a second straight game while he's fallen into a lull at the plate, producing a weak .154/.228/.288 slash line with a 29.8 percent strikeout rate over the past two weeks. With Carrigg and Zac Veen both sitting, the Rockies will roll out a starting outfield of Jordan Beck, Jake McCarthy and Mickey Moniak from left to right.
