Holmes (9-5) allowed a run on six hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings to earn the win over the Giants on Friday.

Holmes was good enough, though he was far from dominant or efficient, needing 104 pitches (64 strikes) to get through five frames. The right-hander is reportedly not being considered for a move back to the bullpen, so the Mets appear to have faith in him to continue holding down a rotation spot despite a rough July. Friday's outing was his first win in five starts this month, and he's allowed 15 runs (14 earned) over 25.2 innings in that span. The 32-year-old is at a 3.40 ERA despite a 1.28 WHIP and 88:44 K:BB through 113.2 innings across 21 starts. He is tentatively projected for a road start in San Diego next week.

Webb (9-8) allowed six runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out four over four innings to take the loss versus the Mets on Friday.

This matched Webb's shortest start of the year, and it's the second time in three outings he's allowed six earned runs. Over that span, he's given up 16 runs in 15.1 innings, an unusual stretch of poor performances for the ace right-hander. Webb is now at a 3.38 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 144:30 K:BB through 135.2 innings across 22 starts. He had been pitching at a career-best level through the end of June, so this could simply be a bit of regression, especially against a tough sequence of opponents (Dodgers, Blue Jays and Mets). Webb will look to right the ship in his next start, which is projected to be a favorable home matchup versus the Pirates next week.

Stephenson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and three RBI in Friday's 7-2 win over the Rays.

Stephenson opened his night with a solo homer of Zack Littell in the second inning and later tacked on a two-run single in the seventh, helping to pad Cincinnati's lead. The 28-year-old backstop has been swinging a hotter bat of late, now batting 9-for-32 (.281) with seven RBI across his last eight games.

Martinez (9-9) earned the win Friday against the Rays, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings.

Martinez extended his recent run of success Friday, limiting Tampa Bay to notch his fifth win in his last six starts. The 34-year-old has been dependable during that stretch, compiling a 3.30 ERA across those five victories. While Martinez doesn't generate a heap of strikeouts, he's consistently provided quality innings when called upon. The right-hander will carry a 4.69 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 86:29 K:BB into his next start, which is projected to be a tougher test next week on the road against the Dodgers.

McGuire went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's 12-5 loss to the White Sox.

McGuire blasted homer No. 6 on the season, racking up a season-high three hits and four RBI in the process. The 30-year-old backstop has played rather sparingly as Carson Kelly's backup behind the plate, but the former has been quite useful when the latter has needed a day off amid Miguel Amaya's (oblique) absence. Through 23 outings, McGuire is hitting .243 with six homers, one double and 15 RBI covering 74 at-bats.

Estrada went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Orioles.

Estrada batted sixth in his return from a thumb sprain and helped spark a comeback with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Through just 129 plate appearances this season, the 29-year-old is slashing .283/.310/.417 with three home runs, 20 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base.

Harris went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Friday's 8-3 loss to Texas.

While Harris has been a huge disappointment from a fantasy perspective -- he has a .574 OPS in 2025 -- he's finally starting to come around a bit at the plate recently. The speedy outfielder is hitting .324 over his last 37 at-bats, adding two doubles, two homers and four RBI during this 10-game stretch. Harris' defense should help him maintain nearly an everyday role in center field, but he still likely has plenty of work to do for any chance of moving up Atlanta's batting order.

Helsley was awarded the save Friday against the Padres, allowing one hit and striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

Called upon to protect a three-run lead, Helsley worked around a single to notch his 21st save of the season and second in as many nights. While the 31-year-old has had some hiccups this year, converting 21 of 26 save opportunities, he's been sharp recently, giving up just one earned run across his last 10 appearances, as the Cardinals continue to lean on him in high-leverage spots.

Tovar went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Friday's 6-5 win over the Orioles.

Tovar broke a 5-5 tie with a 409-foot blast that stood as the game-winner. The 23-year-old has been hot since returning from the injured list, homering three times with five RBI and six runs scored over six games. On the season, he's slashing .267/.308/.460 with six homers, 15 RBI, 20 runs and two steals across just 162 plate appearances.

Gore (4-10) took the loss against the Twins on Friday, allowing one run on one hit and six walks while striking out four across five innings.

Gore had issues with his command all night long, which reared its ugly head in the fifth inning, when his two wild pitches allowed Matt Wallner to advance from first to third before being brought home on a sacrifice fly by Byron Buxton. That was the only run Gore yielded, but he still took the loss after the Nationals were blanked by Zebby Matthews and the Twins' bullpen. Gore has given up two earned runs or less in four of his last five starts and has a 3.52 ERA, 1.27 WHIP across 117.2 innings, with his 144 strikeouts tied with Hunter Brown and Dylan Cease for fourth most in the majors. Gore has taken the loss in five of his last seven starts, and he'll look to get back in the win column in his next outing, slated for next week on the road against the Astros.
