After starting the first two games of the series, Wagaman will give way to Liam Hicks at first base. Wagaman is slashing just .118/.211/.137 since the beginning of July, and his playing time could dwindle as a result.

Frelick was reinstated from the injured list Saturday after missing a couple weeks due to a hamstring strain, and he went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in his return to the lineup. Christian Yelich will receive a start in the outfield Sunday, opening up the DH spot for William Contreras.

Herrera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Herrera and James McCann had alternated starts behind the plate in each of the previous nine games, but McCann will collect a second straight start Sunday. The two backstops will continue to split the workload until Gabriel Moreno (finger) returns from the 60-day injured list.

Gurriel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
After starting in each of Arizona's last five games, Gurriel will get a break while the Diamondbacks run out a starting outfield of Jake McCarthy, Alek Thomas and Corbin Carroll from left to right. Since the All-Star break, Gurriel has gone 5-for-26 with one RBI and one run.

Marsh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
With a tough southpaw (Carlos Rodon) on the bump for New York, the left-handed-hitting Marsh will take a seat while the right-handed-hitting Johan Rojas replaces him in center field. While starting in each of the Phillies' previous 12 games, Marsh went 9-for-43 (.209 average) with zero home runs, zero steals, one RBI and five runs.

After starting six straight games against right-handed starters, Kepler will take a seat against southpaw Carlos Rodon. Kyle Schwarber will draw the start in left field.

Stott started the previous six games and went 4-for-18 with two doubles, a homer and two stolen bases during that stretch. Weston Wilson will man the keystone and bat eighth versus New York lefty Carlos Rodon on Sunday.

McCutchen will head to the bench after going 1-for-13 with a solo homer while starting the previous three games. Bryan Reynolds will receive a turn at designated hitter as Jack Suwinski picks up a start in right field.

The Dodgers optioned Klein to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.
He'll give up his spot in the Los Angeles bullpen to Blake Treinen (forearm). During his four-week stay with the Dodgers, Klein made eight relief appearances and gave up six runs (four earned) on nine hits and eight walks over seven innings.
