Dreyer recorded one out to pick up the save in Monday's 5-2 win at Cincinnati.

After veteran right-hander Blake Treinen struggled with a four-run lead, allowing one run on two hits and two walks, Dreyer relieved him and entered with the bases loaded. The rookie southpaw induced a Matt McLain groundout on his third pitch to notch his first big-league save. This save marks an anomaly for Dreyer, who is unlikely to garner many future save chances. The 26-year-old has pitched to a 2.91 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 51:20 K:BB across 52.2 frames this season.

Tucker went 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Brewers.

Tucker did a little bit of everything in the defeat, and he managed to extend his hitting streak to four games. The outfielder has seen his power decrease in July, as he only has one home run this month through 21 games. Despite the slight dip in production, Tucker remains a dangerous hitter, and he's in a favorable spot to see his counting stats trend upward again as a key piece of a potent Chicago lineup.

Misiorowski didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Cubs, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks in four innings. He struck out seven.

Misiorowski continues to showcase dominant stuff, as he fanned at least seven in his third straight start, but he's struggled to work deep into outings. The rookie phenom has failed to fire at least five frames in three of his last four appearances, but he's conceded fewer than two runs in all but one of his first seven major-league starts. Misiorowski stills sports a 2.70 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 47:14 K:BB across 33.1 frames, and he'll try to provide more length his next time out this weekend against the Nationals.

Burns (0-3) took the loss Monday against the Dodgers, conceding three runs on six hits and one walk over 5.2 innings with 10 strikeouts.

The rookie right-hander notched his third consecutive double-digit K performance but remains in search of his first win after six starts. Burns generated an astounding 21 whiffs out of his 91 total pitches. After allowing a run in the opening frame, the 22-year-old was steady until the fifth when Shohei Ohtani plated two additional runs on a double. Through 27.1 total innings, Burns sports an ugly 6.26 ERA and 1.54 WHIP; however, he has been unlucky as evidenced by a .400 BABIP against him, as he's pitched to a sterling 3.01 FIP and 45:12 K:BB. Burns currently lines up to make his next start during the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway against Atlanta this weekend.

Sanchez (9-3) took the loss Monday against the White Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk in 6.2 innings. He struck out five.

Sanchez's recent tear on the mound came to a halt, as Monday marked the first time in his last seven starts that he yielded greater than one run. The All-Star left-hander surrendered at least four runs for the first time since his April 6 start versus the Dodgers, but he did throw at least six frames in his 10th straight outing. Sanchez will bring a strong 2.55 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 139:33 K:BB over 130.2 innings into this weekend's scheduled start against the Tigers, who have a poor .621 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the start of July.

Busch went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Brewers.

As has become the norm recently against opposite-handed pitching, Busch batted leadoff with Milwaukee starting rookie righty Jacob Misiorowski. Busch has been tremendous in those matchups with a .958 OPS, 18 home runs and 56 RBI, while he frequently sits against southpaws. Even in this platoon arrangement, the 27-year-old has been able to be an impactful fantasy performer all season.

Yamamoto (9-7) allowed one run on four hits and two walks over seven innings to earn the win Monday at Cincinnati. He struck out nine.

The Japanese righty generated an impressive 21 whiffs out of 101 total pitches en route to tallying his sixth outing with nine or more Ks this season. Yamamoto collected his 12th quality start, as the only run he conceded came on a Gavin Lux groundout in the opening frame. In 116.1 total innings, the 26-year-old has pitched to a 2.48 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 133:39 K:BB while allowing 10 home runs. Yamamoto tentatively lines up to make his next appearance in the Dodgers' home series against the Cardinals next week.

Betts went 2-for-4 with a walk, a steal and three runs scored in Monday's 5-2 victory over the Reds.

Betts drew his sixth straight start in the leadoff spot and snapped a 30-game stretch without a steal when he stole second in the seventh inning. Since drawing his first start as the leadoff batter July 20, the former MVP has hit .231 (6-for-26) with six runs, one RBI and four walks as manager Dave Roberts seeks a way to kickstart Betts' bat. Through 425 total plate appearances, the 32-year-old is slashing .240/.313/.372 with 11 homers, 62 runs scored and 46 RBI.

The Pirates announced last week that Brannigan underwent season-ending surgery to repair the labrum in his right shoulder, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Double-A Altoona initially placed Brannigan on the injured list June 14 before the Pirates determined just over a month later that he would need an operation to address his shoulder injury. The 24-year-old infielder is expected to make a full recovery in advance of the next season, but he'll finish the 2025 campaign with a .225/.329/.358 slash line to go with five home runs and nine stolen bases across 237 plate appearances with Altoona.

Rodriguez (elbow) has been conducting his rehab at the Pirates' facility in Florida and has been able to take part in low-level strengthening and range-of-motion exercises, MLB.com reports.

Though Rodriguez isn't shut down from activity entirely since landing on the injured list June 7 after experiencing inflammation in his surgically repaired right elbow, he has yet to be cleared for baseball-specific workouts and thus appears to be a long way off from being activated. Rodriguez's surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, has recommended that the Pirates take a slow approach with the 25-year-old, who is less than two years removed from his elbow operation.
