Ross (back) made his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday, allowing one hit and no walks in a scoreless fourth inning. He struck out two.

Ross was sharp Friday, throwing 10 of his 15 pitches for strikes. The 32-year-old right-hander is rehabbing from back spasms, and he should be able to return to the Phillies in early August if all goes well. Ross will likely operate as a multi-inning middle reliever once he's activated from the injured list.

Nola (ankle/rib) made his first rehab start with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday, allowing three hits and one walk in three scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Nola showed little signs of rust in his first game action since mid-May, pounding the zone for 31 strikes over his 47 pitches. The 32-year-old right-hander is recovering from a sprained ankle and a stress fracture in his rib, and he's likely in line to make another rehab appearance or two before the Phillies consider reinstating him from the injured list. Once Nola is ready to rejoin Philadelphia's rotation, Taijuan Walker will likely revert back to a long-relief role.

Wrobleski earned the save in Friday's 5-0 win over the Rays, allowing one hit and no walks in three scoreless innings. He struck out five.

With the Dodgers holding a 5-0 lead, Wrobleski was brought on essentially for mop-up duty and picked up his first save of the year. The left-hander has a 4.00 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 46:11 K:BB over 45 innings, and he should continue to serve as a multi-inning weapon but still likely isn't a candidate for many more future save chances out of Los Angeles' bullpen.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Friday's 5-0 win over the Rays.

Freeman launched his 12th homer of the season, and he's now logged at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games. Although he underwent a dramatic cooldown at the dish in June and the first part of July following a sizzling start to the year, Freeman is finally getting back on track of late. Over his last 15 games (64 plate appearances), the All-Star first baseman is slashing .321/.406/.518 with two long balls, five doubles and 12 RBI.

Flores was pulled from Friday's game versus the Mets with left hamstring tightness, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Flores had to make an early exit from Friday's contest after tweaking his hamstring while running to first base in the eighth inning. The Giants haven't offered any information regarding the severity of the infielder's injury, but they may err on the side of caution and allow him to recover while keeping him on the bench for a day or two. Any missed time for Flores would likely spell DH reps for Rafael Devers and put Dominic Smith at first base.

Suarez did not factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 win over the Tigers, allowing three runs on four hits and no walks with five strikeouts over seven innings.

Suarez was burned by a three-run homer in the third inning but was otherwise excellent, tossing six scoreless frames and retiring the final 10 batters he faced. The southpaw also didn't issue a walk for the first time since June 1 and has now held opponents to three earned runs or fewer in 14 of 16 outings this season. He'll carry a 2.68 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 95:27 K:BB across 100.2 innings into a home matchup with the Orioles next week.

Stott went 1-for-1 with two walks, two RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.

Stott got the Phillies on the board with a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning and then delivered what proved to be the game-winning RBI single in the eighth. The 27-year-old has now hit safely in seven of his past eight games, collecting four extra-base hits, five RBI, five runs scored and three stolen bases during that stretch. For the year, he's slashing .235/.310/.342 with seven homers, 43 RBI, 43 runs and 17 steals across 389 plate appearances.

Duran threw a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Tigers. He did not record a strikeout.

Duran was tasked with protecting a one-run lead in the ninth and needed just four pitches to lock down his first save with the Phillies. It was an ideal debut with his new club and a strong rebound after allowing a run and throwing 27 pitches in his last outing Monday. For the season, the 27-year-old is 17-for-19 in save chances with a 1.97 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 53:18 K:BB across 50.1 innings.

Flores was removed from Friday's game against the Mets with a lower-body injury, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Flores came up lame after legging out an infield single in the eighth inning and was immediately lifted for a pinch runner. It isn't immediately clear what is bothering the 33-year-old, but more information should come from the Giants after they take a closer look at him.

The Giants optioned Wisely to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.

The 26-year-old will be pushed out of the Giants' infield room following the return of Christian Koss (hamstring) from the injured list. Wisely owns a .208/.269/.354 slash line through 54 plate appearances in the big leagues this season but figures to be on the short list to return to San Francisco if another Giants infielder goes down.
