Dodgers' Max Muncy: Swats 10th homer
Muncy went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-2 loss to Atlanta.
Muncy provided the Dodgers' lone runs of the game with his eighth-inning homer. The third baseman had gone 11 contests without a long ball prior to Sunday, a noticeable drop in power compared to how he started the season. He's batting .273 with a .919 OPS, 10 homers, 15 RBI, 26 runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases across 38 games this year.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Back in action Monday
Muncy (illness) will start at third base and bat sixth in Monday's contest against the Marlins.
Muncy was under the weather over the weekend, forcing an early exit from Saturday's game versus the Cubs. He did not play Sunday, though the Dodgers said he had been scheduled for a day off, anyway. Muncy is ready to go for the series opener versus the Marlins and will carry a robust 1.028 OPS into play Monday.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Getting planned off day
Muncy (illness) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Muncy started Saturday despite feeling under the weather and clubbed an early homer before being lifted in the fourth inning. The ailment apparently isn't responsible for Muncy's absence from the lineup Sunday, however, as he was scheduled for a day off versus Chicago lefty Shota Imanaga. Santiago Espinal is picking up a start at third base in the series finale.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Battling illness, exits in fourth
Muncy was removed from Saturday's game against the Cubs in the fourth inning due to an apparent illness, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Manager Dave Roberts mentioned prior to Saturday's game that Muncy was battling an illness, and after Muncy walked in the bottom of the fourth inning, Santiago Espinal came on to run for him. Before leaving, Muncy went 1-for-1 with a two-run homer and a pair of walks. It will be worth monitoring to see if he's available for Sunday's series finale.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Wraps big series with two homers
Muncy went 4-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs, two additional runs scored and a walk in a 12-3 win against the Rockies on Monday.
Muncy put the Dodgers on the board with a second-inning solo shot and added another in the ninth. The four-hit performance capped a four-game series against the Rockies during which Muncy went 10-for-17 with four long balls and five RBI. The veteran slugger already has three multi-homer games on the campaign and is tied for third in MLB with eight total home runs through 21 contests.

Rockies' Tomoyuki Sugano: Surrenders five runs in loss
Sugano (1-1) took the loss Friday against the Dodgers, allowing five runs on nine hits and two walks with three strikeouts across four innings.
Sugano entered Friday with a 2.16 ERA across his first three starts with the Rockies, but the Dodgers' potent offense was able to tag him early and often in this one. Los Angeles scored in all four innings Sugano pitched Friday. Max Muncy's solo shot in the second was the fifth homer Sugano has surrendered this season, and three of those have come away from Coors Field. Sugano's numbers are still overstating his case, as his 5.39 FIP coming into Friday suggested some regression was coming for the right-hander. Sugano now owns a 3.92 ERA and 15:5 K:BB across 20.2 innings. He's slated to face the Padres at Coors next week.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Another multi-HR night Friday
Muncy went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.
Muncy took Tomoyuki Sugano deep in the second inning before tagging Zach Agnos for another solo shot in the top of the fifth. It was Muncy's second multi-homer games in the last six days, and the veteran now has six long balls on the year. Muncy is slashing .254/.338/.556 with seven RBI, 14 runs scored and an 8:24 BB:K across 71 plate appearances. Muncy has homered or struck out in 42.3 percent of his trips to the plate.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Mashes three homers in win
Muncy went 4-for-5 with three solo home runs and five total runs scored in Friday's 8-7 win over the Rangers.
Muncy had a monster game with solo shots in the second, fourth and ninth innings. His third long ball was a walk-off blast to secure the win after Edwin Diaz blew the save chance in the top of the ninth. Muncy is up to four homers, four RBI, 11 runs scored, no stolen bases and a .286/.375/.571 slash line over 12 contests this season. He continues to see plenty of playing time at third base and should be in the lineup there versus nearly all right-handers, though he's likely to cede playing time against lefties to Santiago Espinal.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Launches first long ball
Muncy went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in Tuesday's 4-1 victory versus the Guardians.
Muncy gave the Dodgers a little breathing room with his solo shot to right field in the sixth inning to make the score 2-0. He also scored the final run of the contest in the eighth frame after rapping a single to center. The veteran third baseman notched his first RBI of the campaign on the solo blast, but he's hit well so far, slashing .364/.553/.636 through five games. He's also showing his usual good eye at the plate with more walks (four) than strikeouts (three).

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Looks ready for season
Muncy went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI in a spring win over the Angels on Sunday.
Muncy's RBI came on a bases-loaded walk in the third inning. The veteran third baseman has performed well during the exhibition slate, posting a .333/.429/.583 slash line with three home runs, seven RBI, eight runs and a 6:8 BB:K through 14 games. Muncy has missed over 150 games due to injury over the past two seasons, so staying healthy would go a long way toward firming up his fantasy value.
