Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Still out Wednesday
Moncada (ankle) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Milwaukee.
Moncada was lifted from Sunday's contest versus the Mariners due to a left ankle injury and has now missed two straight starts. He's considered day-to-day for the time being. Luis Rengifo will play third base and bat leadoff for the Angels on Wednesday.

Tyler Wells RP | BAL
Orioles' Tyler Wells: Cruises to second win
Wells (2-0) earned the win Wednesday against the White Sox, allowing one run on four hits over six innings. He struck out four.
Wells was sharp again Wednesday, holding the White Sox to a lone run on Mike Tauchman's fourth-inning homer. In three starts since returning from the UCL revision surgery that he underwent in June of last year, the right-hander has allowed just four runs while issuing one walk and striking out 14 over 17.2 innings. Wells will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Rays.

Jake Mangum LF | PIT
Rays' Jake Mangum: Getting Wednesday off
Mangum is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Mangum will take a seat Wednesday after he went 0-for-8 with a walk and a stolen base in the first two contests of the series. Chandler Simpson will shift over from left field to cover Mangum's usual spot in center.

Jonah Heim C | ATH
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Re-emerging as top catcher
Heim will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game versus the Astros.
Heim has now started eight of the last 11 contests (10 at catcher, one at designated hitter), including five of the last eight versus right-handers. The switch hitter is slashing .333/.455/.556 over his last eight games and looks to have inched past Kyle Higashioka on the Rangers' catcher depth chart.

Joshua Lowe LF | LAA
Rays' Josh Lowe: Taking seat Wednesday
Lowe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Right-hander Kevin Gausman has been more effective against lefties than righties both this season and for his career, so the Rays will hold out Lowe and fellow left-handed hitter Brandon Lowe for Wednesday's contest. Everson Pereira will step in for Josh Lowe in right field and will bat sixth.
-
Kyle Higashioka C | TEX
Rangers' Kyle Higashioka: Grabbing seat Wednesday
Higashioka is not in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt in Houston.
Higashioka started in Tuesday's 6-5 loss, but he'll be on the bench Wednesday for the fourth time in the last six contests. Jonah Heim will start at catcher Wednesday and looks to have edged ahead of Higashioka in the pecking order at the position.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Idle Wednesday
Lowe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Right-hander Kevin Gausman has been more effective against lefties than righties both this season and for his career, so the Rays will hold out Lowe and fellow left-handed hitter Josh Lowe for Wednesday's contest. Tristan Gray will step in for Brandon Lowe at the keystone.
-
Michael Helman SS | TEX
Rangers' Michael Helman: Playing time dwindling
Helman is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Houston.
Helman appears to be sliding back into a reserve role, as Wednesday marks the third time over the last four games that he's been absent from the lineup. The Rangers will use Wyatt Langford in center field and Alejandro Osuna in left field Wednesday.

Bobby Seymour 1B | TB
Rays' Bob Seymour: Regaining strong-side platoon role
Seymour will start at first base and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Seymour appears to have re-emerged as the Rays' preferred option at first base, as he'll pick up his fourth start in Tampa Bay's last five matchups with right-handed pitchers. The rookie is still slashing a lowly .208/.236/.321 over 55 plate appearances in the majors this season and will be at risk of losing out on his strong-side platoon role if Jonathan Aranda (wrist) returns from the injured list next week.
