Wells is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.

Wells will get the night off after he started behind the plate in the first two games of the series while going 2-for-7 with a double, an RBI and two runs. Ben Rice will handle catching duties for the Yankees in the series finale.

Stanton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.

Stanton will rest up Wednesday after he went 3-for-12 with two RBI and a run while starting each of the last three days. With Stanton on the bench, Aaron Judge will get a day off from playing the outfield but will stick in the lineup at designated hitter.

Davidson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Davidson had started at first base in five straight games from last Wednesday through Sunday, but he went just 3-for-18 with nine strikeouts during that stretch. He's now on the bench for the second time in as many days, with Oswald Peraza getting the nod at first base Wednesday. The Angels could use a three-man committee of Peraza, Davidson and Carter Kieboom at the position for the remainder of the season.

Rivas is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

The switch-hitting Rivas will take a seat for the fourth time in five games, with three of those absences coming against left-handed pitchers. The Mariners seem to be prioritizing Rivas ahead of Cole Young at second base of late, but Jorge Polanco will remain a factor at the position on days in which he's not serving as the designated hitter.

Henderson went 2-for-5 with a run scored and three stolen bases in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the White Sox.

It's the first career three-steal game for Henderson, who's 26-for-30 in stolen-base attempts this season. The shortstop has at least one hit in four of his last five games, going 8-for-20 (.400) in that span. Overall, Henderson's slashing .274/.348/.440 with 16 homers, 64 RBI and 83 runs scored across 609 plate appearances this year.

Wallach cleared waivers Wednesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.

The 33-year-old was called up from Triple-A last Friday to provide emergency depth behind the plate, but he was pushed back off the 40-man roster once Logan O'Hoppe returned from the 7-day injured list Tuesday. Wallach will now likely finish the season at Triple-A, where he's slashed .256/.311/.464 across 137 games.

O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Milwaukee, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

O'Hoppe started Tuesday's 9-2 loss in his first day back from the 7-day concussion injured list, but he'll take a seat Wednesday. Sebastian Rivero will fill in for O'Hoppe behind the plate.

Akin earned the save in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the White Sox, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Akin is up to seven saves on the season, including three in the last seven days, as he continues to work as Baltimore's primary closer. Overall, Akin sports a 3.15 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 56 strikeouts through 60 innings this year.

Moncada (ankle) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Milwaukee.

Moncada was lifted from Sunday's contest versus the Mariners due to a left ankle injury and has now missed two straight starts. He's considered day-to-day for the time being. Luis Rengifo will play third base and bat leadoff for the Angels on Wednesday.

Wells (2-0) earned the win Wednesday against the White Sox, allowing one run on four hits over six innings. He struck out four.

Wells was sharp again Wednesday, holding the White Sox to a lone run on Mike Tauchman's fourth-inning homer. In three starts since returning from the UCL revision surgery that he underwent in June of last year, the right-hander has allowed just four runs while issuing one walk and striking out 14 over 17.2 innings. Wells will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Rays.
