Strowd threw one-third of an inning in relief Sunday against the Yankees.

After the Orioles began a fire sale ahead of the July trade deadline, Strowd joined the major-league bullpen and gave Baltimore some quality work to close out the year. Through 26.1 innings, the right-hander posted a 1.71 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB with five holds. It remains to be seen if the club will bring Strowd back for 2026, but he certainly made a good impression down the stretch.

Jeffers went 3-for-4 with an RBI double, a stolen base and a walk in Sunday's extra-inning loss to Philadelphia.

Jeffers singled and stole his first and only base of the year in the fourth inning before knocking an RBI double in the sixth. He produced two straight multi-hit performances to end the year, but he also finished with an 18-game homerless drought. Jeffers hit .266 with a .753 OPS, 35 extra-base hits and 47 RBI through 464 plate appearances.

Woods Richardson did not factor in the decision during Sunday's extra-inning loss to Philadelphia. He allowed one hit over six scoreless innings while striking out nine.

Woods Richardson gave up a single to Bryson Stott in the third inning but was otherwise untouchable. Over his first nine outings, Woods Richardson posted an unsightly 5.74 ERA. After that, he produced a 3.00 ERA over his final 14 starts (69 innings). He allowed two runs while striking out 23 batters in his last 17 frames. Woods Richardson finished the 2025 season with a 4.04 ERA and a 107:46 K:BB through 111.1 innings.

Crochet will draw the start on the mound in Game 1 of the wild-card round against the Yankees on Tuesday.

Crochet, as expected, is set to toe the rubber as the Red Sox begin their postseason journey Tuesday. The southpaw produced an impressive 2.59 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with 255 strikeouts over 205.1 innings in 32 starts, including a complete-game shutout, during the regular season. Crochet has gone 3-0, while posting a 3.29 ERA with 39 strikeouts over 27.1 innings in four starts against the Yankees in 2025.

Fletcher went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a double in Sunday's win over Washington.

Fletcher doubled in the second inning before launching a two-run blast in the fourth. He was brought up from Triple-A Columbus in early September and posted a .219/.265/.469 slash line in 34 plate appearances. Fletcher's home run Sunday was his first at the MLB level since September of 2024, and his first multi-hit game since his 2025 debut Sept. 5.

Baldwin went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Sunday's win over Washington.

Baldwin ripped a solo shot in the fourth inning before knocking a two-run double in the fifth. He finished the year with homers in back-to-back contests after snapping a 21-game drought Saturday. The 25-year-old utilityman produced a .240/.290/.407 slash line with 27 extra-base hits and 38 RBI through 328 plate appearances this season.

Smith (7-8) allowed one hit over six shutout innings Sunday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Nationals.

Smith retired the first 16 batters he faced before giving up a single to Brady House. It was Smith's first quality start since Aug. 30, and he tied his season best with eight punchouts. He gave up one run and struck out 16 batters over 11 frames in his final two starts. The All-Star rookie finished his 2025 campaign with a 3.81 ERA and 145:58 K:BB through 146.1 innings. Smith posted a 3.17 ERA over his final 11 starts of the year.

Trout smacked a solo home run during the Angels' 6-2 loss to the Astros on Sunday.

Trout put the Angels on the board with a solo shot off Lance McCullers in the first inning before being replaced by Logan O'Hoppe in the third. Trout finished the season with a .798 OPS over 556 plate appearances, which was his lowest mark since the 2011 season (his first in the majors). However, the three-time AL MVP finished the 2025 campaign strong with five home runs over his last seven games and ended up playing in 130 games, his most since the 2019 season (134).

Aldegheri (0-2) took the loss against the Astros on Sunday, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five across 4.2 innings.

Aldegheri gave up a run in the first inning but managed to keep the Astros off the board through the next three frames. He was brought back out for the fifth, only to be tagged for three more runs on homers from Yainer Diaz and Ramon Urias before being pulled. Aldegheri spent most of the 2025 season in Triple-A but appeared in four major-league games for the Angels, including two starts in September. He'll end the year with the big club with a 7.90 ERA and 2.20 WHIP over 13.2 innings, and he'll end his season in Triple-A with an 8-8 record across 24 starts with a 3.78 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 113:60 K:BB in 133.1 innings.

Gordon (6-4) earned the win against the Angels on Sunday, allowing one walk while striking out three across five scoreless innings. He did not yield a hit.

Lance McCullers took care of the first three innings of Sunday's regular-season finale before Gordon entered for the fourth frame. Gordon put on a dominant display, allowing just one baserunner while generating eight whiffs on 68 pitches (45 strikes). The 26-year-old southpaw made his major-league debut May 14 and bounced back and fourth between the big club and Triple-A Sugar Land. Gordon will end his first season in the majors with a 6-4 record and one save across 20 games (14 starts) with a 5.34 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 72:19 K:BB across 86 innings.
