Siri went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Rays.

Siri didn't get the start Saturday, but he made an impact off the bench. The outfielder has gone 9-for-27 (.333) with two homers and 10 RBI over nine contests in June, though he has been limited to a part-time role. For the season, he's batting .333 with a .988 OPS, three homers, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and no stolen bases over 51 plate appearances. Siri should be in the lineup versus most left-handed pitchers, and he serves as a fourth outfielder versus right-handers, though he could carve out a larger role if he maintains the hot bat.

Soriano (8-4) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out five over five shutout innings to earn the win over the Rays on Saturday.

Soriano picked up his second win in a row, but this was a better performance than the previous one. The right-hander started the year with five scoreless outings in his first six starts before predictably regressing throughout a shaky May (5.34 ERA in five starts). Soriano is now at a 2.79 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 92:42 K:BB through 87 innings over 15 outings this season. The 27-year-old is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Athletics. He faced them May 21, allowing two runs over 6.2 innings in a no-decision.

Jax (1-5) allowed one unearned run on five hits and struck out five without walking a batter over five innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Angels.

The Angels were able to run up the score against the Rays' bullpen, leaving Jax with an unfortunate loss despite a strong showing. He threw 44 of 63 pitches for strikes and completed five frames for the second start in a row. For the season, Jax has a 3.68 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 41:18 K:BB over 44 innings across 20 appearances (nine starts). The right-hander is still being built up carefully after opening the campaign in the bullpen, which makes it difficult for him to pitch long enough to qualify for wins. His next outing is projected to be at home versus the Nationals.

Beavers (oblique) is expected to progress to live batting practice as early as Monday, MLB.com reports.

If all goes well against live pitching, Beavers could then start a minor-league rehab assignment shortly thereafter. The 24-year-old outfielder has been on the injured list since May 13 due to a right oblique strain, but he's tracking toward rejoining the Orioles perhaps in late June or early July.

Castillo (2-6) took the loss Saturday against the Nationals, allowing five runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

A throwing error by Josh Naylor kept three earned runs of Castillo's ledger, but Washington got to the hurler for two more runs in the fifth frame. The 33-year-old right-hander has worked at least four innings while yielding two earned runs or fewer in four consecutive outings, so he's performing a bit better as of late. Castillo will try to further improve on a 5.00 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 65:25 K:BB over 66.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance against Boston.

The White Sox signed Guerra to a minor-league contract Saturday.

Guerra spent the previous two seasons in Japan but signed with Atlanta over the winter. He failed to make the team out of spring training and was roughed up for a 5.68 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 17:20 K:BB across 25.1 innings with Triple-A Gwinnett before he was cut by Atlanta earlier this week.

Chapman secured the save Saturday against the Rangers, allowing no runs on one hit and no walks in the ninth inning. He struck out two.

Chapman continues to put together a spectacular campaign as Boston's closer. The 37-year-old southpaw last gave up an earned run during his April 4 outing against the Padres, riding a streak of 17 consecutive scoreless appearances. For the year, Chapman has a 0.44 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 28:9 K:BB while going a perfect 14-for-14 in save situations.

DeGrom took a no-decision Saturday against the Red Sox, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out five.

That's now back-to-back quality starts for deGrom and six on the year so far. The 37-year-old right-hander was shaky in May, posting a 5.72 ERA last month, but he's given up only a pair of runs over his three starts in June (17 innings) to go with a 19:3 K:BB during that stretch. DeGrom will take a steady 3.17 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 89:15 K:BB across 76.2 frames into his next scheduled outing at home against the Padres.

Suarez took a no-decision Saturday against the Rangers, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out seven.

Suarez gave the Red Sox five strong innings while keeping the ball in the yard Saturday. The 30-year-old southpaw has tossed at least five innings in four consecutive starts, and he's also served up just a pair of home runs since the start of April after surrendering two long balls in his season debut. Suarez will take a strong 3.21 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 70:21 K:BB across 70 innings into his next scheduled outing at pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

Peters went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.

Los Angeles ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto entered the bottom of the ninth inning working on a no-hitter, but Peters ended the hurler's chance at history by clubbing a leadoff homer to right field. That was Peters' first long ball in 22 contests, though he's batting a robust .369 with 11 doubles during that span. The hot spell has brought Peters' season slash line up to a very strong .299/.358/.460 and has helped cement his role as Chicago's near-everyday center fielder.
