Wacha (0-1) yielded a run on four hits and four walks over four innings Sunday, striking out two and taking a loss against Cleveland.

The lone run against Wacha came in the second inning when Carlos Santana knocked a leadoff double and came around to score on Gabriel Arias' sacrifice fly. Wacha worked around a couple of other sticky situations but ultimately needed 87 pitches (52 strikes) to work through four frames. He walked four or more batters just twice out of his 29 regular-season starts in 2024. Wacha will look for better results in his next outing, which is projected to be at home against Baltimore.

Bibee (1-0) allowed two hits and two walks over 5.2 shutout innings Sunday, striking out two and earning a win over the Royals.

Bibee was in line to be Cleveland's Opening Day starter, but an illness pushed his start back a few days. He coughed up a couple of extra-base knocks Sunday but was able to skate around danger in the scoreless performance. While the two punchouts and nine whiffs are a bit disappointing, the 26-year-old righty picked up where he left off last year after posting a 3.47 ERA across 173.2 regular-season frames. Bibee is lined up for a road matchup against the Angels next weekend.

DeLuca went 3-for-4 with two steals in Sunday's 6-4 victory against Colorado.

After swiping 16 bags in 362 plate appearances last season, DeLuca opened his 2025 stolen base ledger with a pair in this series finale. The 26-year-old also collected his fourth career three-hit game, knocking a trio of singles. Despite Tampa Bay's penchant for platoons, DeLuca looks to be locked in as the everyday center fielder, which should allow him to eclipse his stolen base total from 2024.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rockies.

The Rays veteran took Ryan Feltner deep in the first inning for his first long ball of the season, slugging it 409 feet to right field. Lowe closed out his opening weekend by going 4-for-13 (.308) at the plate and drawing three consecutive starts, including against the left-handed Kyle Freeland on Opening Day. The 30-year-old entered the season with a career .245/.330/.482 slash line and could be poised for significant power output thanks to the dimensions of George M. Steinbrenner Field, the Rays' current home park.

Holliday went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Blue Jays.

Holliday singled and stole his first base of the season in the second inning, but he also struck out in his other three at-bats. The 21-year-old has had a solid start to 2025, reaching base in all four games with a home run and a steal. However, he's struck out seven times in 16 plate appearances, continuing a trend from 2024, when he fanned at a 33 percent rate.

Bradley (1-0) earned the win Sunday versus the Rockies, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out seven.

The Tampa Bay right-hander scattered five hits -- four singles and one double -- across his 78 total pitches to secure his first victory and quality start of the season. Bradley's fastball looked sharp, as he averaged 96.8 mph on the pitch, in line with last season when it averaged 96.4 mph. The 24-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Rangers on the road next weekend.

Bassitt (1-0) earned the win against the Orioles on Sunday, allowing one run on eight hits and two walks with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Bassitt yielded a run on a wild pitch in the first inning but bounced back with five scoreless frames. The veteran hurler disappointed in 2024, but he posted a 1.74 ERA and 0.97 WHIP this spring and is certainly capable of a rebound. He lines up for a road matchup with the Mets next weekend.

Hoffman earned the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Orioles, striking out two in a perfect ninth inning.

Hoffman retired all three batters he faced, capping off a 10-pitch battle with Gary Sanchez to record a game-ending strikeout. The 32-year-old excelled in a shared closer role for Philadelphia last season, converting 10 of 13 save chances while posting a 2.17 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 89 strikeouts. Now in Toronto, he has the opportunity to thrive as the full-time closer for another playoff contender.

Soderstrom went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Mariners.

Soderstrom continued his red-hot start to the season Sunday, smacking an opposite-field homer off Bryan Woo that would stand as the A's lone run in the game. The 23-year-old Soderstrom now has two hits in three of his first four games to start the year, including a pair of home runs on Opening Day. He's quickly solidified an everyday role, going 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits.

Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Athletics.

Rodriguez got Seattle on the board in the sixth inning with a 438-foot blast off JP Sears that proved to be all the offense the Mariners would need in the one-run victory. It's an encouraging sign for the 24-year-old Rodriguez, who's looking to rebound power-wise from a down 2024 -- he hit 20 home runs while posting a .734 OPS in 613 plate appearances.
