The Orioles traded Gordon to the Royals on Saturday in exchange for cash, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Gordon signed a minor-league deal with Baltimore in the offseason and failed to make the Opening Day roster after turning in a .310 OPS across 30 plate appearances in spring training. He'll now get another shot in the Royals organization, though he still doesn't project as anything more than organizational depth for Triple-A Omaha.

Cabrera isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Cabrera will get a chance to rest Saturday after going 3-for-4 with a walk and four RBI during Friday's win in the series opener. Oswald Peraza will fill in at the hot corner and bat eighth.

Bellinger (back) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game versus Pittsburgh.

Back stiffness prevented Bellinger from playing in Friday's contest, and his absence will officially continue into Saturday. Manager Aaron Boone suggested the 29-year-old outfielder could have been available off the bench Friday, which suggests Bellinger isn't too far away from returning to the starting nine. Until then, Trent Grisham will continue to start in center field.

Lee (back) began playing in rehab games at the Twins' spring training complex earlier this week, Darren Wolfson of Channel 5 Saint Paul reports.

The 24-year-old infielder developed back trouble toward the end of camp -- the second straight spring in which that's happened, as a herniated disc delayed his 2024 debut until June -- but this year's issue appears far less serious. Lee may need a brief rehab assignment before rejoining the Twins, but he appears to be getting close to activation. With Royce Lewis (hamstring) further behind in his recovery and Jose Miranda batting .158 (3-for-19) with zero extra-base hits so far, the door figures to be open for Lee to take over as Minnesota's starting third baseman as soon as he's cleared to return.

Torres (oblique) began hitting off a tee in the batting cages Saturday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Torres said afterward that his oblique is beginning to feel much better, though there is still no timeline in place for his return. He's eligible to return from the injured list Tuesday but will likely require more than a minimum-length stay.

Rafaela isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game versus St. Louis, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Rafaela has gone just 3-for-18 with two RBI and two runs scored across his last five games. The Red Sox will give him a day to collect himself Saturday; meanwhile, Jarren Duran will shift to center field, moving Kristian Campbell into left and opening second base for David Hamilton.

Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a walk in Friday's loss to the Mets.

The Blue Jays managed only four hits in total on the day, with George Springer collecting the other two. Guerrero is still looking for his first homer of 2025 and is batting .267 (8-for-30) with three doubles and three RBI, but the first baseman has reached base in all eight of Toronto's games so far. A breakout performance could come at any time.

Narvaez went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double and two RBI in Friday's 13-9 win over St. Louis.

Narvaez found himself in the starting lineup for a second straight game and rewarded manager Alex Cora by contributing offensively to the win. He's caught both games started by Walker Buehler.

Dana allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two batters over three innings in Friday's loss to Cleveland.

Dana was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake ahead of Friday's contest and ended up logging a sizeable workload of 56 pitches (34 strikes). The right-hander gave up a pair of runs, one of which came on Jose Ramirez's third homer of the game. Dana's call-up came as a result of Ryan Johnson landing on the paternity list, so the former's stay on the big-league roster may not last long.

Wong will start Saturday's game against the Cardinals, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Wong was held out of the lineup for two straight games but is scheduled to be part of the starting crew Saturday and Sunday. It was mildly surprising to see Carlos Narvaez start Friday's home opener, but Narvaez may be the preferred catcher whenever Walker Buehler starts.
