Bellinger continued to tear the cover off the ball, legging out his third triple of the year already and the 31st of his career. The outfielder is riding an impressive nine-game hitting streak, during which he's batting .471 (16-for-34) with two home runs, seven doubles, two triples and 14 RBI. Bellinger has four multi-hit efforts during that span, also stealing one base.

Yankees' Cody Bellinger: Belts two homers Saturday
Bellinger went 4-for-4 with a pair of home runs, a double, a stolen base, three total runs and four total RBI in a 9-4 win against the Orioles on Saturday.
Bellinger entered the game batting just .205 with no homers over his previous 11 games, but be broke out in a big way against Baltimore. The veteran outfielder opened the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning, doubled in another run in the third and swatted another solo blast in the fifth. Finally, Bellinger collected his fourth RBI on an infield single in the seventh and capped his huge fantasy day by stealing a base. Bellinger's season OPS jumped all the way up from .755 to .855 with the performance, and he's generated five homers, 20 RBI, 21 runs and four stolen bases through 32 contests.

Bellinger is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Red Sox.

The 30-year-old slugger came into the contest with only one long ball in his first 19 games, but Bellinger broke out by taking lefty Noah Cameron deep in the third inning and touching up righty Mitch Spence in the sixth. Bellinger also extended his hitting streak to seven games, a stretch in which he's batting .357 (10-for-28) with a double, a steal, four runs and six RBI.

Bellinger is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.
Though same-handed hitters (.335 wOBA) have fared marginally better than right-handed hitters (.322 wOBA) against Angels southpaw Reid Detmers for his career, the Yankees will send Bellinger and two other left-handed hitters (Jazz Chisholm and Ben Rice) to the bench Tuesday. Bellinger has been active on the basepaths early in the season, swiping three bags in four attempts through 14 games. He tallied 13 thefts in 15 tries during the regular season last year and has a career-best mark of 20 steals, which he established in 2023 while with the Cubs. In addition to his trio of steals, Bellinger has posted a .240/.344/.360 slash line with five RBI and nine runs through 61 plate appearances.
