Jax pitched one inning, surrendering two runs on three hits while striking out three batters on his way to a blown save in Sunday's 9-7 extra-inning loss to the Astros. He did not factor into the decision.

Jax was tasked with protecting a 7-5 lead in top of the ninth inning and promptly allowed a leadoff single to Isaac Paredes and a subsequent game-tying two-run homer to Yordan Alvarez to open the frame. The right-hander settled in from there, working around a double from Christian Walker and striking out the final three batters of the inning. Jax has now allowed two home runs this season while giving up three runs on six hits and a walk over 2.2 innings in three appearances out of Minnesota's bullpen.

Paddack pitched four-plus innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 9-7 extra-inning loss to the Astros.

Paddack gave up three singles and a sacrifice fly in the first inning before spinning three consecutive scoreless frames. He then ran into a great deal of trouble to open the top of the fifth, giving up three hits, including a double, and a walk, resulting in two runs scoring before he was pulled from the game. Another run was charged to him after his departure, accounting for the final tally on his scorecard. The right-hander has now surrendered 12 earned runs on 13 hits and six walks while striking out just four batters over 7.1 innings in his first two starts in 2025. Paddack will look to get on track in his next projected start Friday at home versus the Tigers.

Ortiz (0-2) yielded three runs on seven hits over six innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Angels.

Ortiz gave up two runs in the second inning, starting with Logan O'Hoppe's solo shot. Jorge Soler later went deep with another solo home run in the sixth. Ortiz has been tagged with 10 runs over 10.2 frames in his first two starts of the 2025 campaign after posting a 3.32 ERA across 135.2 innings with Pittsburgh last season. He's currently in line for a home matchup against the Royals next weekend.

Rodriguez (elbow) will throw another bullpen session Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Rodriguez is set to toss his third session during his recovery from right elbow inflammation, which would be another step closer to beginning a minor-league rehab assignment. The hard-throwing right-hander should be stashed in the majority of mixed leagues, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back in the Orioles' rotation until late April at the earliest. Cade Povich is currently working as Baltimore's fifth starter, but he's struggled to a 6.10 ERA and 1.94 WHIP over 10.1 innings (two starts) to begin the year.

O'Hoppe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over Cleveland.

O'Hoppe has now gone deep in four consecutive games and has five long balls through 30 plate appearances. The 25-year-old catcher wasted no time Sunday, drilling a solo homer in the second inning. He owns a .345/.367/.862 slash line with nine RBI and a 1:10 BB:K through seven appearances.

Paris went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over Cleveland.

Paris singled, swiped second base and came around to score in the second inning. He later gave the Angels an insurance run with his solo shot in the eighth. Paris has gone 8-for-18 (.444) with two home runs and four steals through eight games to begin the season. Paris has played center field and second base in 2025 and should continue seeing consistent playing time as long as his bat stays effective.

Headrick was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Sunday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Pirates.

Headrick will head to Triple-A after pitching 5.1 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out nine batters over four appearances out of the bullpen with New York so far this season. The transaction makes room for Adam Ottavino on the 26-man roster after Ottavino was re-signed by the team Sunday night.

Hader (1-0) tossed two perfect innings, striking out three batters on his way to a win in Sunday's 9-7 extra-inning victory over the Twins.

Hader was tasked with keeping the game tied at 7-7 in the bottom of the ninth inning, setting the Twins down in order, including a strikeout. He then returned to the mound for the bottom of the 10th after Houston took a 9-7 lead in the top of the frame and worked around the inherited runner at second to secure his first win of the year. Hader has now allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out six batters over five innings in four appearances out of the bullpen this season.

Blanco pitched 1.2 innings, giving up four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three batters in Sunday's 9-7 extra-inning win over the Twins. He did not factor into the decision.

Blanco was in trouble early Sunday, surrendering three hits and a walk in the first inning, which resulted in three runs for Minnesota. He then walked two batters and gave up two singles while recording just two outs in the second frame. Blanco has now combined to allow seven runs on eight hits and six walks while striking out nine batters over 6.2 innings in two starts this season. His next turn in the rotation is tentatively set to come Saturday at home against the Angels.

Warren did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Pirates, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts over four innings.

Warren labored through four innings, tallying 87 total pitches and yielding four runs over his final two frames. Through two starts, the 25-year-old owns a 6.00 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 9:5 K:BB across nine innings. He's slated for a home matchup with the Giants next weekend.
