Bello (shoulder) will make a third rehab start Friday for Triple-A Worcester, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Bello threw 56 pitches over 3.1 innings for Worcester over the weekend and will look to increase his workload Friday. The Red Sox will evaluate the right-hander following the rehab start, but manager Alex Cora suggested that Bello could require another outing in the minors after that before being ready to return from the 15-day injured list. Bello has been pitching on a four-day rest schedule between starts, so a fourth rehab outing would put him on track to come off the IL as soon as April 21.

Giolito (hamstring) allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out three over 3.1 innings for Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday.

Giolito worked the second game of a seven-inning doubleheader for Worcester. He threw 64 pitches, with 30 of those coming in the first inning. The right-hander is expected to make at least one more rehab start before the Red Sox decide whether to activate him from the 15-day injured list, though manager Alex Cora suggested that he's leaning toward having Giolito make a fourth rehab start prior to rejoining the big-league rotation, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com. Giolito missed most of his first season with the Red Sox in 2024 while recovering from an internal brace surgery on his elbow, but it's a left hamstring strain that has delayed his 2025 debut.

Heim started at designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Cubs.

Heim's two-run homer in the fifth inning turned out to be the game-winning knock. It was the third home run of the season for Heim, who leads the Rangers with seven RBI over nine games played. While he and Kyle Higashioka have alternated at catcher, Heim has been used as a DH three times thus far and could continue filling that role frequently if the bat holds up.

Pillar started in left field and went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Cubs.

Pillar singled and scored in the fifth inning. He filled in for the injured Wyatt Langford, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with an oblique injury. Pillar drew the start against lefty Shota Imanaga, but Josh Smith could be the preferred option Friday when the Rangers face Seattle righty Bryce Miller.

Jones started in center field and went 0-for-2 with two walks in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.

Jones slid from right field to center with Lane Thomas (wrist) nursing an injury. Jones has managed to work six walks over 32 plate appearances but is hitless in his last 12 at-bats.

Noel went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.

With the hit-and-run on in the first inning, Noel singled through a vacated shortstop hole to produce Cleveland's first run. He had two of the team's three hits, as the Guardians used seven walks, two steals and aggressive baserunning to eke out the win. Noel's run-producing single snapped an 0-for-15 skid.

France went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI against the Royals in a 4-0 win Wednesday.

France was the only Minnesota batter with more than one hit in the victory, and he drove in half of the team's runs on an RBI single in the sixth inning and a solo shot to left field in the ninth. It was the veteran first baseman's third multi-hit performance of the campaign, though he came into Wednesday in a 3-for-17 rut at the plate over his past five contests. France has settled in as the Twins' primary first baseman and has posted a .256/.304/.395 slash line through his first 46 plate appearances of the campaign.

Lugo (1-1) took the loss against Minnesota on Wednesday, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six batters over 5.2 innings.

Lugo nearly got through the outing with a one-run quality start, but after retiring the first two batters he faced in the sixth, he gave up a double, issued an intentional walk and yielded a single to surrender a second run before getting the hook. The veteran righty would have taken the loss even if that run wouldn't have scored, though, as the Royals were unable to cross the plate against Joe Ryan and a pair of Twins relievers. Lugo has been steady but unspectacular to begin the campaign, posting a 3.24 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB over 16.2 frames across three starts. His next appearance lines up as a tough matchup on the road against the Yankees early next week.

Caminero went 1-for-4 on Wednesday against the Angels.

Caminero has had an inconsistent start to the season, which he kicked off with a five-game hitting streak before going three straight contests without a hit. He recorded his first home run Tuesday -- only his second extra-base hit of the campaign -- and followed that up with another knock Wednesday as he appears to be getting back on track at the plate.

Ellard struck out two and walked one while not allowing a hit across a scoreless eighth inning in Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

Ellard has pitched well overall this season, as this marked his fourth scoreless appearance in five chances. His last outing came Sunday in a save situation, though he pitched with the White Sox down by two runs in the eighth inning Wednesday. Mike Clevinger pitched in a more traditional closer role Tuesday, but it's unclear which pitcher will claim save chances moving forward.
