Tauchman has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain and is expected to be sidelined for a couple weeks, Mike McGraw of the Chicago Daily Herald reports.

Tauchman was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, but he could be looking at a bit of a longer stay on the injured list. It's the second time he's pulled his right hamstring in the last month. Austin Slater, Brooks Baldwin, Joshua Palacios and Michael Taylor are expected to absorb the extra playing time in the outfield with Tauchman sidelined.

Darrell-Hicks was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Darrell-Hicks will replace Ben Joyce (shoulder) in the Angels' bullpen and figures to make his MLB debut in the coming days. The 27-year-old righty has made three appearances for Salt Lake so far this season, allowing seven earned runs in just 6.2 innings.

The Angels placed Joyce (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Joyce is dealing with shoulder inflammation, which likely explains his noted drop in velocity earlier this week. Joyce expressed that he wasn't concerned following his Tuesday outing in which he allowed one home run and three earned runs during his one inning of work. With Joyce headed to the IL, the Angels have recalled Michael Darrell-Hicks from the minors.

Francis will not make his scheduled start Friday against the Orioles, as the game has been postponed due to rain.

The game will not be made up this weekend -- instead it will be made up as part of a split doubleheader July 29. Francis seems unlikely to be skipped, however, given how well he has pitched thus far. The right-hander has put up a 3.18 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB in 11.1 innings spanning two starts this season.

Royals manager Matt Quatraro said Friday that Harvey (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 right teres major strain and will be re-evaluated next week, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Harvey felt it while warming up Thursday, but the injury is considered minor at the moment. Harvey was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday, and with one of the Royals' top setup men sidelined, John Schreiber could move up a rung on the ladder to help Lucas Erceg and closer Carlos Estevez at the back end of the Kansas City bullpen.

Sugano will not make his scheduled start Friday against the Blue Jays, as the game has been postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader July 29, but neither Sugano nor Cade Povich will be skipped in the rotation this weekend. Sugano picked up his first career big-league win his last time out when he threw 5.1 innings of one-run ball in Kansas City, fanning four while walking one.

Palacios (finger) will play in rehab games with Double-A Montgomery on Saturday and Sunday before being re-evaluated, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Palacios logged five at-bats Friday in the Florida Complex League and reported no issues with his right ring finger afterward. He has received clearance to advance his rehab to Double-A, which would seem to put a return to the big-league club next week on the table. While Palacios didn't light the world on fire last season, he stole 19 bases in 20 attempts and figures to see fairly steady playing time upon his return given the other injuries to the Tampa Bay outfield.

The Mariners recalled Legumina from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.

Legumina has pitched in four games for Tacoma this season and has registered a microscopic 1.93 ERA with 9.64 K/9 and one save out of the bullpen. The right-hander will slide into the Mariners' bullpen picture.

The White Sox recalled Eisert from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

Eisert takes the roster spot of Fraser Ellard (hamstring), who was placed on the 15-day IL on Friday. Eisert is back in the big leagues after already appearing in three games out of the bullpen for the White Sox this season. He pitched to the tune of a 12.00 ERA across three innings of work before being sent down to the minors earlier in the week.

Ellard struck out two and walked one over one inning of work Wednesday against the Guardians, but he'll miss at least the next couple weeks. Ellard sports a 5.40 ERA and 6:4 K:BB across five innings on the young season. In a corresponding move, Chicago recalled Brandon Eisert from Triple-A Charlotte.
