Correa (wrist) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

After fouling off a pitch during his third plate appearance of the night in the fifth inning of Tuesday's 6-3 win, Correa was seen shaking his left hand in discomfort and was visited on the field by manager Rocco Baldelli and a team trainer. Following a brief conversation, Correa was lifted for a pinch hitter, and the Twins relayed afterward that he was dealing with a sore left wrist. He'll sit out Wednesday's series finale and will undergo an MRI as the Twins look to glean more information regarding the extent of the injury. Willi Castro will fill in for Correa at shortstop Wednesday, opening up a spot in the starting nine at third base for Brooks Lee.

Rodgers (hip) will start at second base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game versus the Cardinals.

It's Rodgers' first start in a week, as he's been dealing with a hip issue. He did make one pinch-hitting appearance during that stretch and is well enough to return to the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

Alvarez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest in St. Louis.

Alvarez homered in Tuesday's victory over the Cardinals but will get some rest for Wednesday's matinee. Jose Altuve is in the designated hitter spot for the series finale, while Chas McCormick will play left field.

Wallner (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Wallner's absence from the starting nine comes as little surprise after he was lifted early in Tuesday's 6-3 win due to left hamstring tightness. The Twins are expected to send Wallner in for an MRI on Wednesday, but the severity of his hamstring injury isn't yet known. DaShawn Keirsey will draw the start Wednesday in right field in place of Wallner, who can be viewed as day-to-day until the Twins provide further word on his situation.

Crawford (knee) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Crawford opened the season on the injured list with right patellar tendinopathy. Red Sox manager Alex Cora remains unsure of what the next step is in Crawford's progression, but the manager noted Crawford is not "close to being back with us."

Wong (finger) has begun baseball activities including some catching drills, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Wong is out indefinitely with a fracture of his left pinky finger. Boston manager Alex Cora was optimistic about Wong doing the catching drills and noted that Wong is progressing.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Tuesday that Yoshida (shoulder) is not close to a rebab assignment, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Yoshida continues to rehab in Fort Myers and is working on a throwing program. He's not going to be ready for duty in the majors until he's able to make throws from the outfield.

Mullins went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a steal in Tuesday's loss to the Guardians.

Mullins finally got the Orioles on the board in the seventh with a solo home run to center. He is currently pacing the club in nearly every offensive category while sitting eighth in all of baseball with a .435 on-base percentage and seventh with a 1.055 OPS.

Rafaela went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's 7-4 win over Tampa Bay.

The struggling Rafaela returned to the lineup after sitting out the first game of the series. He entered Tuesday batting .220/.291/.260 with a 46 percent chase rate over 55 plate appearances. Red Sox manager Alex Cora told Christopher Smith of MassLive.com on Tuesday that Rafaela has been "swinging a lot" and wants to see the outfielder be more selective. The manager added that even when there are pitches to hit, Rafaela is rushing his swing.

Morton (0-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Morton's struggles continued, as he's now given up four-plus earned runs in six straight starts (dating back to the end of last season) for the first time in his 18-year career. Walks in the third contributed to the Guardians' first run of the game and they poured on three more in the fifth, including a two-run homer from Steven Kwan. Morton will continue to stick in the rotation while the Orioles' top two starters are on the shelf. He lines up to face the Reds in Baltimore on Sunday.
