Quero went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two walks and two runs scored Saturday against the Athletics.

Quero has performed well since being recalled for his big-league debut April 17, with Saturday marking his third multi-hit effort in nine starts. He's also struck out at just a 5.9 percent clip, as opposed to a 15.2 percent walk rate. While he won't remain this successful, Quero certainly doesn't look overmatched in the majors.

Abreu is not in the Red Sox's starting lineup against the Guardians on Sunday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

The Guardians are sending southpaw Logan Allen to the hill for Sunday's rubber match, so the lefty-hitting Abreu will begin the contest in the dugout while Rob Refsnyder starts in right field and bats fifth. Since the beginning of April, Abreu is slashing .221/.326/.390 with three stolen bases, 11 runs scored, three home runs and 12 RBI in 89 plate appearances.

Mead recorded an RBI on a sacrifice fly as a pinch hitter in Saturday's game against the Padres.

Mead remains in a strict short-side platoon role, with his last start against a right-handed pitcher coming April 5. He also hasn't recorded a hit since April 10, going 0-for-13 since. Mead did manage his second RBI of the campaign Saturday.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and a second run scored Saturday against the Padres.

Lowe took Dylan Cease yard in the third inning to record his fourth home run of the season and first since April 5. He's had a tough start to the campaign, hitting only .211 with no multi-hit games since April 4. Lowe's strikeout rate has crept up to 29.7 percent, though he has still maintained a 12.1 percent barrel rate.

Dezenzo went 1-for-4 on Saturday against the Royals.

Dezenzo has started four of Houston's last five games, with his only absence caused by a minor thumb injury. He's hit well in the small sample, delivering six hits across 14 at-bats with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored. Dezenzo has played at first base and both corner outfield spots rather than having one defensive home, so his outlook for playing time remains uncertain. However, Houston is trying to jumpstart its offense, and so far Dezenzo has delivered.

Jobe is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Astros, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Jobe last took the mound April 18 versus Kansas City, so it'll end up being 12 days between starts for the right-hander. There's been no indication he's dealing with an injury, so the Tigers may simply be incorporating some in-season workload management with the 22-year-old rookie. Jobe has pitched well through four starts this year with a 2.70 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 14:10 K:BB across 20 innings.

Baez went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Orioles.

Baez started the nightcap on the bench before entering as a defensive replacement, but he managed to make his mark in the first game. The 32-year-old started that contest in center field, which is where he's been playing exclusively recently. The eventual returns of Matt Vierling (shoulder), Wenceel Perez (back) and Parker Meadows (arm) will give Detroit other options in center, but Baez's versatility has given his fantasy profile a boost in the early going. He figures to serve as a super utility player once Detroit is healthier.

McCullers (forearm) allowed three hits and one walk while striking out seven across five scoreless innings in Saturday's rehab outing with Double-A Corpus Christi.

McCullers had a two-week gap between rehab outings after dealing with an illness. He managed to keep ramping up, however, as he threw 71 pitches and delivered his longest start of the season. There has been no official word from the club, but McCullers could slot into the Houston rotation next weekend against the White Sox.

The Yankees recalled De Los Santos from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to serve as the 27th player for Sunday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays.

The right-hander will temporarily join the big club as bullpen depth following Saturday's postponement. De Los Santos has given up one earned run over 8.1 innings for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this year, though he hasn't pitched in the majors since 2023, when he posted a 3.33 ERA in 22 outings with Pittsburgh.

Hurter (1-0) gave up one run across 2.1 innings of relief to earn the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Orioles. He allowed a hit and two walks.

After Keider Montero covered 4.1 innings to start the game, Hurter finished the fifth then worked into the seventh to earn his first win of the season. The lefty has been solid with a 2.65 ERA across 17 innings, which is in line with the 2.58 ERA he posted across 45.1 regular-season innings in 2024. Hurter isn't missing many bats, however, with only 11 strikeouts across those 17 frames.
