Lauer (1-0) allowed a hit and a walk while striking out five over 4.2 scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Mariners.

Jose Urena started, but he covered two innings and was pulled after giving up a solo home run to Dylan Moore to lead off the third. Lauer then took over and threw over twice as many pitches as Urena (63 to 31). Lauer has made two bulk-relief appearances and one as a more traditional reliever. While Urena appears to officially have a spot in the rotation, Lauer has also been kept on a starter's schedule since his April 30 season debut. The situation is fluid for now, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Lauer eventually get a start since he has history in that role in his previous major-league stops with Milwaukee and San Diego.

Henderson went 2-for-5 with a homer, a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Angels.

Henderson padded the Orioles' lead with a two-run blast in the sixth to put them up 7-2. He now has two homers, four extra-base hits and four RBI in his last three games. Sunday was also his fourth time with multiple hits over his last eight games. He's had an excellent run at the plate since late April and is now slashing .264/.307/.473 with five homers, nine RBI, 18 runs and an 8:38 BB:K in 137 plate appearances this season.

Urena allowed one run on two hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout over two-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Urena was making his second start with the Blue Jays after giving up two runs over 4.1 innings to the Angels on Tuesday. He made it just once through the Mariners' lineup Sunday, which looks like it may have been planned -- he threw 31 pitches (19 strikes) in this outing compared to 74 pitches Tuesday. The Blue Jays have yet to reveal their pitching plans for the week ahead, but it's possible Urena could be shifting into an opener or piggyback role rather than functioning as a traditional starter.

Torkelson went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Sunday's 6-1 loss to the Rangers.

Torkelson provided all of Detroit's offense on a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning. The infielder is now up to 33 RBI in 41 games this year to go along with 10 home runs and an .874 OPS. It's a huge step forward from 2024, when Torkelson had a total of 10 long balls and 37 RBI to go along with a disappointing .669 OPS over 92 regular-season games.

Eflin (3-1) got the win Sunday against the Angels, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five in five innings.

Eflin got off to a rocky start, allowing two runs in the opening frame before rebounding with four scoreless. Despite throwing only 58 pitches in his lone rehab start, Eflin worked up to 83 pitches and left in line for the win with the team up 3-2. He'd registered a quality start in all three of his outings prior to getting injured and lines up for a favorable home matchup against the Nationals over the weekend.

Tonkin (shoulder) has developed biceps tendinitis during his rehab assignment and will receive an injection, MLB.com reports.

It's not clear what treatment he'll receive for the tendinitis, but this will be a significant setback. He was nearing the end of his 30-day rehab stint in the minors, so he'll need to start the process again when healthy. Tonkin suffered a right shoulder strain early in spring training and began the season on the injured list. He had made six rehab outings before developing the biceps issue.

Lewis went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's 7-6 win over San Francisco. He ended an 0-for-13 slump to begin the season.

Lewis slumped at the end of last season as well, so he was 0-for-36 since last September before Sunday. Lewis missed the team's first 35 games after suffering a strained hamstring late in spring training. He may finally be shaking off the rust with Sunday's performance.

Devers went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Royals.

Devers broke a 1-1 tie with a two-run homer that traveled 440 feet in the sixth inning. Despite the drama surrounding the 28-year-old in recent days, he's gone 17-for-37 with four extra-base hits and 12 RBI through 10 games in May. On the season, he's slashing .280/.398/.490 with seven home runs, 31 RBI, 25 runs scored and a steal across 191 plate appearances.

Abreu went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Royals.

Abreu got the Red Sox on the board with a 430-foot blast off Seth Lugo in the fourth inning. The 25-year-old entered Sunday in an 0-for-13 skid but has now slugged four homers through 10 games in May. On the season, he's slashing .279/.380/.551 with 10 home runs, 26 RBI, 23 runs scored and four steals across 158 plate appearances.

Chapman earned the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Royals, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Chapman was called upon to face the heart of the Royals' order and worked around an error and a single to secure his sixth save in as many chances. The veteran closer has been outstanding so far this season, posting a 1.88 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 20:5 K:BB across 14.1 innings.
