Schreiber (1-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Astros after giving up a walk-off home run before recording an out in the ninth inning.

It wasn't a blown save due to the game being tied at 1-1 before he served up the homer to Isaac Paredes, but Schreiber still allowed his first run since April 16. The 31-year-old right-hander has worked in a setup role along with Lucas Erceg ahead of closer Carlos Estevez this year, which has prevented Schreiber from seeing a single save opportunity so far in 2025. Through his first 17 innings, Schreiber sports a 2.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 19:6 K:BB.

Armstrong picked up the save after throwing a clean ninth inning in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Colorado. He struck out three.

Chris Martin was initially summoned to work the ninth, but he was pulled before recording an out due to right elbow tightness. That setback coupled with setup man Robert Garcia having worked each of the past two days forced manager Bruce Bochy to turn to Armstrong, who struck out the side on 17 pitches for his first save of the year. Luke Jackson is currently managing a hand injury, so Armstrong could be in line for a short-term boost in high-leverage work until Texas' bullpen gets healthier. Armstrong owns a 3.06 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 20:8 K:BB over 17.2 innings this season.

Jung went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Colorado.

Jung got Texas on the board in the first inning with a two-run home run off Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland, later tacking on an insurance run with another homer in the eighth. It was the fifth career multi-homer effort by Jung, who now has five extra-base hits through 12 games in May. The 27-year-old third baseman has also hit four long balls over his last seven games, hitting .360 with seven RBI over 25 at-bats in that span.

Brieske (1-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit over one inning of work but managed to earn the win in Tuesday's 10-9 victory over the Red Sox in 11 innings. He struck out two.

Brieske allowed a home run in the 11th inning, which brought home the automatic runner and gave Boston a 9-7 lead. However, the reliever scooped up his first win of the season when the Tigers answered back with three runs in the bottom of the inning. Brieske missed a few weeks earlier in the year due to right ankle inflammation, and he's yet to really get going, as he's sitting with a 7.11 ERA across 12.2 innings. The righty recorded a 3.59 ERA across 67.2 regular-season innings in 2024.

Martin was removed from Tuesday's game against the Rockies due to right elbow tightness, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Martin threw just one pitch Tuesday before signaling to come out of the game. He'll presumably undergo tests to determine if he's dealing with any structural damage, and the Rangers should know more about his injury in the near future. With Luke Jackson (hand) also nursing an injury, Robert Garcia may now be the top high-leverage arm in Texas' bullpen.

Leiter (3-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Rockies after allowing one run on two hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out five.

Facing a paltry Rockies lineup, Leiter turned in his longest start of the season and certainly his finest since coming off the injured list. The 25-year-old right-hander had given up 12 runs over his last 13 innings (three starts) since returning from a finger issue, with Tuesday marking his first quality start in 2025. Leiter owns a 4.34 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 23:14 K:BB across 29 innings on the campaign, and he'll face a tough test in his next scheduled outing this weekend versus an improving Astros offense.

Torkelson went 1-for-3 with two walks, a solo home run and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 10-9 win over the Red Sox in 11 innings.

Torkelson hit his 11th home run of the season in the fourth inning against Boston starter Brayan Bello. The infielder surpassed the 10 long balls he recorded in the regular season last year, when he posted a disappointing .669 OPS during a down campaign. Torkelson may never deliver a great batting average, but the 25-year-old has real power, and he's seemingly put his 2024 struggles behind him.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a walk, two home runs, three total runs scored and six RBI in Tuesday's 10-9 win over the Red Sox in extra innings.

Baez delivered a three-run shot in the sixth inning, and then picked a great time to record his first multi-homer game of the season. The veteran went deep with two runners on again in the bottom of the 11th, erasing a two-run deficit and sending the Tigers home with a win. After a disappointing 2024 campaign, Baez has been much improved in 2025, as he now has a .319 batting average and .870 OPS through 34 games. He's doing this while also getting used to playing center field for the first time in his career, making his offensive output that much more impressive.

Allen (2-2) yielded three hits and a walk over six scoreless frames Tuesday, striking out six and earning a win over the Brewers.

Allen was terrific Tuesday, allowing only one extra-base hit and at one point retiring 13 consecutive batters. It marked his first time completing six innings this season and he earned his first win since April 15. He tossed 57 of 89 pitches for strikes and generated a season-high 11 whiffs. Allen lowered his ERA to 3.70 to go alongside a 31:20 K:BB through 41.1 innings this season. His next start is projected to be in Minnesota.

Valdez didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Royals after allowing one run on six hits and one walk in eight innings. He struck out seven.

Valdez was highly efficient with his 89 pitches, inducing a whopping 12 groundouts and tossing eight innings for the second time this year. The star left-hander has experienced a few hiccups in 2025, but he's now fired at least six innings while giving up two runs or fewer in six of his nine starts this season. Valdez will carry a strong 3.54 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 51:18 K:BB across 56 innings overall into his next scheduled outing against the Rays, who have a miserable .571 OPS versus left-handed pitching over their first 40 games.
