  • Kumar Rocker SP | TEX

Rangers' Kumar Rocker: Rocked for seven runs in loss

Rocker (2-8) took the loss against Houston on Saturday, allowing seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 5.2 innings.

Rocker gave up the seven runs on a trio of homers, including a grand slam off the bat of Lamonte Wade. That was out of character for the right-hander this season, as he entered Saturday with a 1.0 HR/9 and having yielded no more than two long balls in any outing. The seven earned runs and eight hits allowed were also season-worst marks for Rocker, who has had a very up-and-down campaign. He heads into the All-Star break with a 4.40 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 80:34 K:BB over 90 innings spanning 18 appearances (16 starts).

  • Peter Lambert SP | HOU

Astros' Peter Lambert: Continues breakout campaign

Lambert (8-5) allowed one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over six innings to earn the win over Texas on Saturday.

The only run Lambert allowed came on an Ezequiel Duran home run in the fourth inning. Beyond that, the Rangers collected just two other hits (both singles) against him and struck out seven times. Lambert finished with his sixth quality start of the season and collected his eighth victory -- as many as he recorded over his first four MLB campaigns combined. The right-hander seems to have benefitted from his year in Japan last season, as he's become a vital part of Houston's injury-plagued rotation. Through 15 starts, he holds a strong 3.14 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 81:33 K:BB over 86 innings.

  • Pete Alonso 1B | BAL

Orioles' Pete Alonso: Belts 21st long ball

Alonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a double in a 6-1 win against the Royals on Saturday.

Alonso hit one of four Baltimore homers in the contest, though his fourth-inning two-run blast was the only one that wasn't a solo shot. The slugger also smacked a double to tally multiple extra-base hits in the same game for the first time since June 13. Alonso has enjoyed a strong first half in his first campaign with the Orioles, slashing .253/.348/.478 with 21 home runs -- tied for 12th-most in the majors -- 59 runs, 64 RBI and two stolen bases through 96 contests.

  • Noah Cameron SP | KC

Royals' Noah Cameron: Tallies nine punchouts in loss

Cameron (5-7) took the loss against Baltimore on Sunday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters over seven innings.

Cameron allowed a modest seven baserunners in his seven frames, but three of those rounded the infield on home runs. It was the second time this year that the left-hander has served up three homers in a game, but on a more positive note, he also struck out a season-high nine batters. Cameron has improved his strikeout rate over his rookie campaign, but he's otherwise had a shaky first half, posting a 4.89 ERA and 1.42 WHIP over 95.2 innings spanning 18 starts.

  • Taylor Ward LF | BAL

Orioles' Taylor Ward: Ends power drought in win

Ward went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Royals.

Ward snapped a long homer drought, last leaving the yard June 22 in Anaheim. The veteran outfielder has hit safely in eight of his last nine games amid what's been something of a bizarre season at the plate so far. Ward sports a career-high .385 on-base percentage and is batting a respectable .256 through 434 plate appearances, but his .361 slugging percentage is his lowest mark since 2019 and comes one year after he slugged a career-high .475 over 157 games for the Angels in 2025.

  • David Bednar RP | NYY

Yankees' David Bednar: Extends scoreless streak in save

Bednar secured the save Saturday against the Nationals, allowing one hit and no walks in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out one.

Washington got the possible tying run to the plate, but Bednar hung on to successfully convert his eighth straight save chance. The 31-year-old right-hander has been especially dominant as of late, now riding a scoreless streak of 19 innings. Through 40 frames for the year, Bednar boasts a 2.70 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 45:12 K:BB with 18 saves in 20 opportunities.

  • Royce Lewis 3B | MIN

Twins' Royce Lewis: Swats homer No. 10

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Angels.

The first baseman got the Twins on the board in the second inning by taking Ryan Johnson deep, then came home with the winning run in the seventh after a leadoff double. Lewis is still struggling to put together a true hot streak, but over his last 12 games he's batting .255 (12-for-47) with four doubles and three of his 10 homers on the season.

  • Yoendrys Gomez RP | MIN

Twins' Yoendrys Gomez: Notches 11th save

Gomez gave up a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his 11th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Angels. He struck out one.

The right-hander continues to impress at the back of the Twins' bullpen. Gomez has gone 10-for-10 in converting save chances since being acquired from the Rays in early May, producing a 1.71 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB over 26.1 innings for his new club.

  • Cam Schlittler SP | NYY

Yankees' Cam Schlittler: Settles down for quality start

Schlittler took a no-decision Saturday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks in 6.2 innings. He struck out six.

It looked like a rough day was brewing for Schlittler, who served up a pair of first-inning solo home runs, but he settled in and silenced the Washington bats the rest of the way. The four walks were a season-worst figure, though the All-Star right-hander is now up to 12 quality starts already this year. Schlittler trails only Dylan Cease's 148 strikeouts for the American League-lead in this category, sporting a 2.05 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 137:25 K:BB over 118.2 innings.

  • Joe Ryan SP | MIN

Twins' Joe Ryan: Quality start in no-decision

Ryan didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Angels, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander continues to have trade rumors circling his head, but Ryan didn't let it bother him Saturday, delivering his 12th quality start of the season on 94 pitches (61 strikes). He was in line for his seventh win of the year, but the Twins' bullpen let the lead slip away in the top of the seventh before the team's offense surged ahead for good. Ryan will take a 2.85 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 128:25 K:BB through 110.1 innings into the All-Star break.
