Gordon did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the Mariners. He allowed three runs on seven hits over five innings while striking out four.

Gordon struggled out of the gate, giving up all three runs in the first three frames. Mitch Garver knocked a two-run double in the first inning, and Donovan Solano drove in another run in the third. Gordon has given up exactly three runs in each of his first three MLB outings, resulting in a 5.52 ERA over 14.2 innings. His average fastball was down to 90.6 mph Sunday, and he forced just eight swinging strikes on 84 total pitches. Gordon is currently projected to face the Rays at home next weekend.

Walker went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's win over Seattle.

Walker put Houston on the board with an RBI single in the third inning before coming up clutch late. The veteran slugger ripped a walk-off, two-run shot in the ninth inning for his sixth home run of the year. He's produced two straight multi-hit games after going 3-for-27 (.111) in his previous seven appearances. Walker is now slashing .212/.275/.354 with 23 RBI and 15 extra-base hits through 218 plate appearances.

Castillo did not factor in the decision during Sunday's loss to Houston. He allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings while striking out six.

Castillo coughed up a pair of runs in the third inning and one more in the sixth. He recorded his sixth quality start of the year and third in a row, but it wasn't a very efficient one. He threw a season-high 114 pitches (72 strikes) and worked around multiple threats. Castillo generated 14 whiffs, including eight with his fastball that averaged 96.4 mph. He's sporting a 3.32 ERA with a 50:21 K:BB through 62.1 frames. Castillo is lined up to face the Twins at home next weekend.

Colas agreed Sunday with the Angels on a minor-league contract, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Once Colas passes a physical, he's expected to report to the Angels' Double-A affiliate in Rocket City. After signing with the White Sox in January 2022 as an international free agent out of Cuba, Colas quickly emerged as one of the organization's top prospects. He never delivered on his potential, however, amassing a .223/.271/.309 slash line across 301 plate appearances over 88 games in Chicago between the 2023 and 2024 seasons before he was removed from the 40-man roster in late March. The 26-year-old outfielder had continued to languish in the minors before the White Sox released him Saturday, as he turned in a .500 OPS in 29 games between Triple-A Charlotte and Double-A Birmingham this season.

Gonzalez has gone 6-for-22 (.273 average) with a 3:3 BB:K and one stolen base in six games since being promoted from High-A Cedar Rapids to Double-A Wichita on Monday.

Gonzalez earned the bump up to Double-A after hitting .319 with five home runs and a .907 OPS in 34 games for Cedar Rapids. His numbers were a marked improvement from the .706 OPS he posted at the High-A level in 2024, when he was limited to just 76 games after missing extended time with a back injury. Now seemingly back to full health, Gonzalez is thriving again and looks to have re-established himself as one of the better hitting prospects in the Twins organization.

Morton is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Cardinals at Camden Yards, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

After the Orioles parted ways with Kyle Gibson last Tuesday, Morton had been expected to slot back into the rotation during the team's series versus Boston over the weekend, but rainouts Thursday and Friday resulted in some reshuffling with the pitching schedule. Morton is now set to take the hill Monday on eight days' rest and will be making his seventh start of the season. The veteran right-hander is still holding down a 7.68 ERA and 1.76 WHIP on the season, but he's been much sharper over his three most recent relief appearances. In those outings, Morton struck out 12 batters over 9.2 innings while allowing two earned runs on four hits and two walks.

Hendricks (2-6) took the loss Sunday against Miami. He conceded three runs on seven hits and no walks over six innings with five strikeouts.

After yielding a home run across each of his previous seven starts, Hendricks kept the ball in the yard during this 87-pitch outing but did allow four doubles. Despite allowing three or more runs for the fourth consecutive appearance, the 35-year-old managed to notch his fourth quality start of the season. Hendricks now sports a 5.23 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 33:16 K:BB across 53.1 innings. He is scheduled to make his next start on the road at Cleveland next weekend.

Wallner (hamstring) is slated to continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul to begin the upcoming week rather than joining the Twins for the start of their 10-game road trip that begins Monday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

The Twins aren't ruling out activating Wallner from the 10-day injured list at some point during the trip, but he'll likely need to play full games in the outfield on consecutive days at Triple-A St. Paul before he rejoins the big club. Wallner, who has been on the shelf since April 17 with a left hamstring strain, has thus far appeared in three games for St. Paul. He's made two starts in right field and one as a designated hitter while going a collective 5-for-12 with two home runs, a double and a walk.

McKinstry went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Guardians.

McKinstry had the key hit of the game, delivering his third home run of the season in the fourth inning with a runner on. The veteran utility player has been surprisingly productive at the plate so far this year with a .788 OPS through 49 games, which is up from the .614 OPS he posted during the 2024 regular season. For his career, McKinstry has a .662 OPS.

The Royals optioned Biggio to Triple-A Omaha following Sunday's 2-1 win over the Twins, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Biggio appeared as a pinch hitter in the contest, striking out in place of Mark Canha in the top of the ninth inning. The 30-year-old has struggled to a .174 average with one home run, four RBI, nine runs scored and a stolen base over 83 plate appearances in 37 games with Kansas City this season. Since he's accrued more than five seasons of service time, Biggio will now have the chance to either accept his option to Triple-A or elect free agency.
