Caballero went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Astros.

Getting the start in right field, the utility player hit leadoff for the first time all year and ripped a Framber Valdez two-seamer into the Crawford Boxes on the second pitch he saw, but it was all the offense the Rays could muster. The long ball was Caballero's second of the season, and over his last 14 games he's earned his audition at the top of the batting order by slashing .280/.345/.460 with six RBI, eight runs and nine steals.

Pepiot came away with a no-decision Friday, scattering two hits and a walk over 6.2 scoreless innings in a 2-1 loss to the Astros. He struck out four.

The right-hander faced the minimum number of batters through four innings and didn't let a runner get into scoring position while he was on the mound, exiting with a 1-0 lead after 93 pitches (61 strikes). The Tampa Bay bullpen cost Pepiot his fourth win of the season, however, and he had to settle for his fifth straight quality start and eighth of the season. He'll take a 3.21 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 56:20 K:BB through 70 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the Rangers.

Mayo is on his way to Baltimore and could be recalled by the Orioles, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Mayo was scratched from Triple-A Norfolk's lineup Friday so that he could head to Baltimore, but it remains uncertain whether the Orioles will officially recall him from the minor leagues. Ryan Mountcastle is dealing with hamstring discomfort, which could prompt the major-league club to enlist Mayo's services. Mayo went just 1-for-12 during a brief stint in the majors earlier this season and is only 5-for-53 for his career with the O's, but he remains one of the top prospects in Baltimore's farm system.

Wells went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 8-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Wells has been decent at the plate lately, going 6-for-27 (.222) with three extra-base hits and four RBI over his last eight games. The catcher continues to see a majority of the playing time behind the plate. His homer Friday was his first since May 12 in Seattle, and he's up to nine long balls on the year. Wells has added a .209/.276/.449 slash line, 32 RBI, 19 runs scored, three stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple across 181 plate appearances.

Grisham went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 8-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Grisham has multiple hits in three of his last 10 games, but he's gone just 9-for-38 (.237) in that span. His homer Friday was also his first since he went yard twice in Seattle on May 12. Despite Grisham's recent struggles, he has still frequently hit first or second, though Paul Goldschmidt has also gotten more looks in the leadoff spot, particularly against southpaws. Grisham is batting .259 with an .892 OPS, 13 homers, 26 RBI, 28 runs scored, three doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over 49 contests this season.

Judge went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 8-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Judge has an 11-game on-base streak, going 13-for-38 (.342) with four homers, seven RBI and three doubles in that span. His long ball Friday opened the scoring, and it was the first of four homers for the Yankees in the loss to open the interleague series. For the season, Judge is batting .392 with a 1.236 OPS, 19 homers, 48 RBI, 52 runs scored, four stolen bases, 15 doubles and two triples across 56 contests.

Fried (7-1) allowed six runs on eight hits and struck out three without walking a batter over five-plus innings Friday, taking the loss versus the Dodgers.

Fried entered the sixth inning up 5-2, but he yielded a second solo home run to Shohei Ohtani and wasn't able to recover. Jonathan Loaisiga and Tim Hill failed to stop the bleeding, and the Yankees didn't muster a response later in the game, leaving Fried with an ugly first loss of the campaign. This is the second time he's given up six runs this year, but the first was in his season debut, and only two of them were earned in that outing. Despite Friday's performance, Fried still has a 1.92 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 70:16 K:BB through 75 innings over 12 starts this season. The southpaw will look to get back on track at home versus the Guardians next week.

Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 12-6 extra-inning loss to the Twins.

Arozarena entered the game in an 0-for-11 slump at the plate. He broke it early, going deep in the first inning for his first homer since May 18. Over the 10 games between long balls, he struggled, batting .128 (5-for-39) with 17 strikeouts. The outfielder is now at a .224/.353/.398 slash line with seven homers, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored and nine stolen bases over 54 contests. His 29.4 percent strikeout rate is the worst of his career, and that will continue to limit his potential until he can start making more consistent contact.

Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and five RBI in Friday's 12-6 extra-inning loss to the Twins.

Raleigh became the first catcher to reach the 20-homer mark before the end of May in major-league history when he swatted a three-run blast in the first inning. He added a two-run homer in the eighth to get to 21 on the year, two ahead of Aaron Judge for the American League lead. Raleigh has hit safely in nine of the last 10 games, going 14-for-38 (.368) with six homers and 10 RBI in that span. He's at a .265/.381/.623 slash line with 42 RBI, 37 runs scored, six stolen bases and 10 doubles through 56 games this year.

Munoz allowed three runs on four hits and struck out two without walking a batter over one inning, taking a blown save in Friday's 12-6 extra-inning loss to the Twins.

Munoz fell apart in the ninth inning, allowing a two-run home run to Willi Castro and the game-tying RBI single to Trevor Larnach. The earned runs were the first of the year for Munoz. The 26-year-old is still at a sterling 1.09 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB while converting 17 of 20 save chances over 24.2 innings.
