Estevez earned the save in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Tigers, allowing one hit with no walks or strikeouts in a scoreless ninth inning.

Estevez was brought in for the ninth to maintain the Royals' lead and shutout bid. He allowed a single after retiring the first two batters, but he closed things out by inducing a Riley Greene groundout. Estevez has converted 16 of his 18 save opportunities this season and has not allowed a run over his last eight outings. He has a 1.78 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season.

Dezenzo was removed in the sixth inning of Saturday's game against the Rays due to left hand discomfort, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dezenzo felt discomfort in his left hand during his last plate appearance in the fourth inning, and he was replaced by Mauricio Dubon in left field at the top of the sixth frame, per Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. Dezenzo went 1-for-2 with a run scored prior to his exit.

Cruz (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

"I feel ready. No pain, no discomfort," Cruz told reporters after Saturday's session. The 35-year-old right-hander is recovering from right shoulder inflammation that caused him to land on the 15-day injured list May 22. Cruz is eligible to be reinstated from the IL on Tuesday and may not require a rehab assignment (barring any setbacks).

Varsho was removed from Saturday's game against the Athletics due to left hamstring discomfort.

Varsho injured his left hamstring while attempting to stretch a double into a triple in the third inning. The 28-year-old outfielder will undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury. Myles Straw entered the game at the top of the fourth, and he would be in line for more starts in the outfield if Varsho were to be sidelined for an extended period of time.

Varsho was removed in the third inning of Saturday's game against the Athletics due to a left leg injury, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Varsho pulled up grabbing his left leg while attempting to stretch a double into a triple in the third inning. He was helped off the field to the clubhouse, and an update on the severity of Varsho's injury should be provided during or shortly after Saturday's contest once he undergoes further testing. Myles Straw has taken over in center field for the Blue Jays following Varsho's departure.

Rice is not in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Saturday.

Aaron Judge will serve as the Yankees' designated hitter while Jasson Dominguez, Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger start in the outfield. Rice has slashed .230/.293/.446 with three home runs and 10 RBI across 82 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

Perez is starting in center field and batting sixth in Saturday's game against the Royals.

Since being activated from the injured list Tuesday after missing his team's first 55 games due to back inflammation, Perez is now starting in center for the fourth straight day. Javier Baez filled in well there, but he can also play infield, which is what he is doing Saturday, with Zach McKinstry out of the lineup. Expect Baez to shift between the outfield and infield, giving Perez a path to regular playing time whenever Baez is situated on the diamond.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Saturday that Brennan will get a second opinion on his left forearm next week, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Brennan landed on the 10-day injured list May 22 due to left forearm inflammation. He'll visit Dr. Keith Meister next week, which indicates that Brennan's injury is more severe than initially thought. Brennan was recalled by the Guardians from Triple-A Columbus on May 12 and went 1-for-11 in six major-league outings prior to his injury.

Rogers is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Rogers has clearly fallen behind Dillon Dingler as Detroit's top catching option, with the latter starting for the fifth time in six days Saturday. Dingler, who is sporting a .794 OPS, took advantage of Rogers missing about six weeks with an oblique strain to emerge as a viable offensive threat and a regular starter. By comparison, Rogers has just a .449 OPS, which should keep him entrenched as the backup for the time being.

Olson (finger) was scheduled to throw another bullpen session Saturday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Olson has now thrown a pair of bullpen sessions within the past four days as he continues to ramp back up after being placed on the injured list May 19 due to right ring finger inflammation. Though the right-hander doesn't look to be in line for an extended stay on the IL, he'll still need to face hitters in live batting practice and potentially complete a brief minor-league rehab assignment prior to being activated.
