Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Saturday that Brennan will get a second opinion on his left forearm next week, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Brennan landed on the 10-day injured list May 22 due to left forearm inflammation. He'll visit Dr. Keith Meister next week, which indicates that Brennan's injury is more severe than initially thought. Brennan was recalled by the Guardians from Triple-A Columbus on May 12 and went 1-for-11 in six major-league outings prior to his injury.

Rogers is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Rogers has clearly fallen behind Dillon Dingler as Detroit's top catching option, with the latter starting for the fifth time in six days Saturday. Dingler, who is sporting a .794 OPS, took advantage of Rogers missing about six weeks with an oblique strain to emerge as a viable offensive threat and a regular starter. By comparison, Rogers has just a .449 OPS, which should keep him entrenched as the backup for the time being.

Olson (finger) was scheduled to throw another bullpen session Saturday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Olson has now thrown a pair of bullpen sessions within the past four days as he continues to ramp back up after being placed on the injured list May 19 due to right ring finger inflammation. Though the right-hander doesn't look to be in line for an extended stay on the IL, he'll still need to face hitters in live batting practice and potentially complete a brief minor-league rehab assignment prior to being activated.

The Mariners optioned Legumina to Triple-A Tacoma following Friday's game against the Twins.

Legumina allowed just five runs (three earned) over his first 18 major-league outings with the Mariners. However, he has yielded eight runs (seven earned) over his last two appearances out of the bullpen, which has inflated his ERA and WHIP to 4.58 and 1.53, respectively, across 19.2 innings. The move makes room on the 26-man roster for Bryce Miller (elbow), who was reinstated from the 15-day injured list Saturday.

The Mariners optioned Rivas to Triple-A Tacoma following Friday's game against the Twins.

The move makes room on the 26-man roster for Cole Young, whose contract was selected by the Mariners from Tacoma. Rivas served in a utility role for Seattle after being recalled by the big club in early April, and he is slashing .283/.411/.300 with four steals and four RBI in 73 major-league plate appearances this season. Rivas should receive a call back up to the majors this season should the Mariners need infield depth.

The Mariners reinstated Miller (elbow) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Twins on Saturday.

Miller landed on the 15-day injured list May 12 due to right elbow inflammation, but he progressed enough in his recovery to avoid a rehab assignment and will retake the mound for the Mariners on Saturday. The 26-year-old right-hander gave up 11 earned runs in nine innings across two starts before landing on the IL. In the six prior starts, Miller posted a 3.52 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 31:19 K:BB across 30.2 innings.

Moore is not in Seattle's starting lineup against Minnesota on Saturday.

Moore will be out of the Mariners' lineup for the third time in four games, and the veteran infielder could be losing his grasp on the starting spot at the keystone after Cole Young was promoted from Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday. Moore is slashing .264/.322/.481 with eight steals, eight home runs an 16 RBI across 143 plate appearances this season.

Polanco is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Twins on Saturday.

Polanco snapped a seven-game hitless streak Friday when he went 1-for-5 with a run scored. He'll begin Saturday's game in the dugout while Cal Raleigh serves as the designated hitter and Mitch Garver starts behind home plate.

O'Hoppe is not in the Angels' starting lineup against the Guardians on Saturday.

O'Hoppe will get a day off after going 2-for-5 with three strikeouts against Cleveland on Friday. With Mike Trout serving as the designated hitter, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register relays that Travis d'Arnaud will likely start behind home plate ahead of O'Hoppe in games where Yusei Kikuchi or Kyle Hendricks are on the mound for the Halos. D'Arnaud will start at catcher and bat seventh while forming a battery with Hendricks on Saturday.

The Mariners selected Young's contract from Triple-A Tacoma, and he will start at second base and bat eighth against the Twins on Saturday.

Young is set to make his major-league debut after a strong start to the season in Triple-A, where he is slashing .278/.391/.463 with four steals, five home runs and 26 RBI in 245 plate appearances. With J.P. Crawford cemented as the Mariners' starting shortstop, Young will compete with Dylan Moore and Miles Mastrobuoni for regular playing time at the keystone.
