Waldichuk (elbow) threw a live batting practice session at the Athletics' spring training complex Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Waldichuk's throwing session consisted entirely of fastballs and changeups, so he'll still need to throw breaking pitches against hitters before the Athletics clear him for a rehab assignment. The southpaw is bouncing back from May 2024 Tommy John surgery and isn't expected to return from the 60-day injured list until July.

Ginn (quadriceps) was cleared to resume throwing shortly after landing on the 15-day injured list May 20, but he's without a clear target date for being activated, MLB.com reports.

Ginn is eligible to come off the IL on Wednesday, and though it's unclear if he'll be ready to go by that date, the Athletics don't believe he'll need too much time beyond then before returning to action. While Ginn has been on the shelf, Jacob Lopez has stepped in to fill his spot in the rotation, making two starts and producing an 8.31 ERA and 1.27 WHIP across 8.2 innings.

Jeffers is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Mariners on Saturday.

Jeffers will get a breather while Christian Vazquez starts behind home plate and bats ninth. Jeffers has slashed .247/.341/.390 with five doubles, two home runs and eight RBI in 88 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

France is not in Minnesota's starting lineup against Seattle on Saturday.

France is in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, going 9-for-32 (.281) with one home run and seven RBI over that span. He'll begin Saturday's game in the dugout while Kody Clemens starts at first base and bats seventh.

Lewis is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Mariners on Saturday.

Lewis has gone 0-for-26 over his last seven games and will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout. Brooks Lee will get the start at the hot corner and bat third.

Bader (finger) is starting in left field and batting eighth against Seattle on Saturday.

Bader was out of the Twins' lineup for four consecutive games due to a right finger injury, but he's been cleared to start in Saturday's contest. He has slashed .321/.391/.500 with five steals, two home runs and eight RBI in 64 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

Swanson (forearm) is with the Blue Jays in Toronto and could be reinstated from the 60-day injured list as soon as Sunday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Swanson is in the final stages of his recovery from carpal tunnel syndrome in his right forearm, which caused him to start the season on the IL. He's given up two hits and no walks while striking out four batters over his last five minor-league innings, and the the veteran right-hander appears to be on the cusp of rejoining the Blue Jays' bullpen. Swanson posted a 5.03 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, nine holds and a 37:14 K:BB across 39.1 innings for Toronto in 2024.

The Guardians recalled Enright from Triple-A Columbus on Saturday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Enright was optioned to Triple-A on Wednesday, but he'll return to the majors after the Guardians placed Andrew Walters (lat) on the 15-day injured list Saturday. Enright made his major-league debut against the Tigers this past Sunday, and across two outings with the Guardians he has allowed three runs on two hits and one walk while striking out four in three innings.

The Guardians placed Walters on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to a right lat strain, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Walters suffered the injury during the ninth inning of Friday's game against the Angels. The Guardians haven't determined whether Walters will need surgery, but the 24-year-old is expected to be sidelined for an extended period after president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti said that the right-hander has been diagnosed with a "significant tear," per SI.com. Nic Enright was recalled from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move.

Heineman (concussion) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Heineman landed on the 7-day concussion IL on Sunday after taking multiple foul balls off his catcher's mask, but he seems to be nearing the end of his recovery process. The Blue Jays haven't specified how long they plan to keep the 33-year-old backstop in the minors, though he shouldn't require too many tune-up games.
