McCullers is not listed among the Astros' probable pitchers for this weekend's series in Cleveland, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

McCullers' next turn comes up Sunday, but the team is listing TBA in that slot for now. Manager Joe Espada did not rule out McCullers ultimately taking the ball that day, but it appears Tuesday versus the White Sox is likelier for the righty after McCullers went six innings in each of his last two outings. McCullers hadn't pitched in the majors since 2022 due to various injuries before rejoining Houston's rotation in early May.

Bubic is not listed among the Royals' probable pitchers for this weekend's series against the White Sox, as the team plans to give him extra rest before his next start, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Bubic appears lined up to start Tuesday at home versus the Yankees, which would mean more than a week in between outings after he last took the ball this past Sunday against the Tigers. It will result in a much more difficult matchup for the lefty, but it makes sense for the Royals to manage Bubic's workload after he totaled less than 90 innings between the majors and minors over the previous two seasons, including the playoffs.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that Stroman (knee) threw another live batting practice session Thursday and could begin a rehab assignment soon, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Boone also noted that Stroman is being built up as a starting pitcher rather than being shifted to relief. That suggests Stroman's rehab assignment could be a lengthy one, given that he hasn't pitched in a game since mid-April. There's no guarantee Stroman will join the Yankees' rotation once activated, but the club wants to keep its options open.

Mangum isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rangers.

Since returning from the injured list Friday, Mangum has gone 4-for-19 with a home run and five RBI in five games. He'll take a seat for Thursday's series finale, opening up a spot in left field for Christopher Morel.

Caballero isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rangers.

The Rays will give Caballero a day to regroup after he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts during Wednesday's contest. Taylor Walls will fill in at shortstop and bat eighth.

LeMahieu isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game versus Cleveland.

LeMahieu will get a chance to rest his legs Thursday after making four consecutive starts at second base, and he went 5-for-13 with two walks and three RBI during that span. Oswald Peraza will pick up a start at the keystone as a result and bat ninth.

Goldschmidt isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Guardians.

Goldschmidt will get a chance to regroup Thursday after going 0-for-7 with a walk and four strikeouts during the first two games of the series. Ben Rice will cover first base and bat second while the 37-year-old veteran rests.

Dominguez (thumb) will start in left field and bat seventh Thursday against the Guardians.

Dominguez missed each of New York's last two contests while recovering from a jammed thumb he suffered Sunday. Now that he's comfortable swinging a bat again, he'll rejoin the starting nine Thursday and aim to stay hot after collecting a base hit in each of his last four games.

Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said that Westburg (hamstring) will play another rehab game with Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Westburg was set to be re-evaluated after Wednesday's game with Norfolk, and the decision has been made to give him another contest as the club's designated hitter Thursday. He will continue to be evaluated on a day-to-day basis, with a return to the Orioles' active roster considered imminent. Westburg has been shelved since late April with a strained left hamstring.

Urias is absent from the lineup for Thursday's tilt in Seattle.

It's a routine day of rest for Urias, who had started each of the previous 12 contests. Emmanuel Rivera is at third base and batting seventh for the Orioles.
