Rice went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Nationals.

Rice has gone deep seven times in the last 10 games, slashing .324/.432/.892 over that blistering stretch with eight runs and 13 RBI. His 29 homers on the season rank third in the majors, behind Kyle Schwarber's 32 and Yordan Alvarez's 30.

Bednar (3-3) picked up the win Friday, firing two scoreless, no-hit relief innings in a 5-3 victory over the Nationals. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.

The veteran closer did plunk Daylen Lile with a pitch and watched him get to third after a steal and a throwing error by Austin Wells, but Bednar was otherwise flawless and got rewarded when the Yankees broke through with three runs in the top of the ninth inning. Bednar hasn't given up an earned run since May 18, delivering a 0.50 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB over his last 18 innings while converting all six of his save chances and collecting two wins.

Murakami went 1-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Athletics.

Murakami returned after roughly a six-week absence and struck out in four of his five at-bats. He delivered an RBI double in his other plate appearance, continuing the boom-or-bust profile he had displayed early in the season. Murakami also returned to hit second in the order, and he should retain a key spot in the lineup moving forward.

Weathers didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-3 win over the Nationals, allowing one run on six hits over 5.1 innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

The southpaw put together another stingy outing, tossing 61 of 91 pitches for strikes and getting tagged for two runs or fewer for the fourth time in his last five starts, but the Yankees' bullpen cost Weathers his fourth win of the year. Over that five-start stretch, he's produced a 3.47 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB through 23.1 innings, and with both Max Fried (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) on the shelf until late July or later, Weathers' spot in the rotation should be secure for at least a couple weeks coming out of the All-Star break.

The White Sox recalled Schweitzer from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Schweitzer will join the big-league bullpen as the replacement for Brandon Eisert, who was traded to Pittsburgh on Friday. Schweitzer, 25, has allowed four earned runs in eight frames with the White Sox but owns a 5.08 ERA and 1.43 WHIP across 44.1 innings at Charlotte. He'll likely slot in as a middle reliever.

Quantrill didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 7-3 win over Houston, allowing one earned run on five hits and a walk while striking out one batter across six innings.

The 31-year-old's lone run allowed came courtesy of Yordan Alvarez's homer in the sixth. Quantrill otherwise did a great job keeping the Astros' offense in check while allowing just two batters to reach base between the third and sixth innings. He left the game with a 3-1 lead but was forced to settle for a no-decision after the Rangers' bullpen allowed Houston to tie the game in the seventh, leaving the righty still in search of his first win since June 3. Quantrill now owns a 2.12 ERA and 0.94 WHIP across 17 innings in four starts since joining the rotation.

Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

Torkelson hit his second home run over his last three games, and he's now up to 16 long balls on the season. The 26-year-old matched his career best with 31 homers in 155 regular-season contests last year. He's sitting at his current total after 93 games, so he'll need to finish on a torrid pace if he wants to set a new career high in 2026, though Torkelson is plenty capable of going on power binges.

Keith went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

Keith is off to a nice start in the power department this month, as he now has three home runs in seven July games. Overall, the 24-year-old has tallied all eight of his long balls this season in his last 23 contests after failing to go deep over his first 62 games of the year. Keith is building some momentum heading into the second half and starting to emerge as a useful fantasy asset due to his ability to leave the yard.

Benintendi went 2-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored Friday against the Athletics.

Benintendi was overshadowed by Tristan Peters hitting for the cycle, but Benintendi delivered a pair of RBI doubles to help the White Sox to a blowout win. Benintendi has a nearly identical line to his 2025 season, though he has been more productive of late, hitting .269 with four homers, 16 RBI and 10 runs scored across 23 games in the last month.

McGonigle went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

It wasn't McGonigle's best performance overall, but he still managed to make an impact with his eighth home run of the season. The 21-year-old rookie also extended his hitting streak to five games, and so far in July he's batting .313 with a .905 OPS and two long balls. McGonigle is carrying positive vibes into his first All-Star Game appearance next week.
