Caminero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

Caminero opened the scoring with a solo shot in the second inning and also set the Rays on the comeback trail with an RBI single in the ninth. The third baseman has upped his power game with six homers, three doubles and 16 RBI over his last eight games. He's now at 15 long balls, 40 RBI, 34 runs scored, 13 doubles, four stolen bases and a .262/.293/.520 slash line through 58 contests overall.

Pepiot allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Thursday.

Pepiot delivered another quality start but was unable to extend his streak of scoreless outings to three. He surrendered solo home runs to Jake Burger and Marcus Semien in this contest, but he was spared the loss when the Rays rallied for a walk-off win in the ninth inning. Pepiot has logged six straight quality starts, allowing nine runs over his last 37.2 innings. He's at a 3.20 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 64:22 K:BB across 76 innings through 13 starts this season. His next outing is projected to be a road start in Boston.

Dunn signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Thursday, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.

Dunn spent the start of the 2025 season with the White Sox, but he was released by the team on May 28. He'll likely report to Triple-A Omaha for the Royals, though it's unclear if he'll work as a starter or reliever.

Hoffmann was returned to Triple-A Omaha on Thursday.

Hoffmann was optioned earlier Thursday but stuck on the roster thanks to the Royals' doubleheader against St. Louis. He didn't appear in either contest and has entered only one game in the majors in 2025.

Fermin went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 7-5 win over the Cardinals in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader.

Fermin's playing time has declined to begin June. He's hit safely in the last six games where he's received a plate appearance, but his effort in Thursday's nightcap was his first with multiple hits since May 6. The catcher is at a .255/.301/.340 slash line with two homers, eight RBI, 11 runs scored and three doubles over 114 plate appearances. If he can't turn things around with the bat, he'll likely continue to be confined to a backup role as Salvador Perez continues to be capable of working behind the plate as a starter.

Garcia went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two walks, two RBI, two stolen bases and three runs scored in a 7-5 win over the Cardinals in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader.

Garcia rattled off a 14-game hitting streak from May 14-30, but a thumb issue has hampered him slightly to begin June. The utility player went 0-for-5 in the day game, but he was a big performer in the nightcap while snagging a rare start in center field rather than at his usual third base. For the season, he's hitting .311 with an .852 OPS, five home runs, 13 steals on 20 attempts, 29 RBI, 28 runs scored, 15 doubles and two triples over 61 contests. Power isn't a huge part of his game, but he's on pace for double-digit homers and can make an impact with speed and by getting on base at a high rate.

Pasquantino went 5-for-10 with three RBI as the Royals split Thursday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals.

Pasquantino had a four-hit effort, including a pair of RBI singles, in a 6-5 extra-inning loss in the first game before adding an RBI with a groundout in the nightcap. The first baseman warmed up in the second half of May, batting .365 (19-for-52) over his last 14 games of the month, and he's hit safely in four straight contests to begin June. Overall, he's at a .267/.319/.403 slash line with eight home runs, 36 RBI, 23 runs scored, seven doubles and a triple across 62 games this season.

India went 3-for-9 with a home run, two RBI and two total runs scored as the Royals split Thursday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals.

India's second homer of the year was a leadoff blast off Miles Mikolas to begin the matinee game. India had gone 11 games without an extra-base hit prior to Thursday, batting .263 (10-for-38) with three walks, one RBI and five runs scored in that span. The light-hitting infielder is now at a .248/.332/.322 slash line with 15 RBI, 24 runs scored, 10 doubles and no stolen bases on three attempts over 56 games this season. Despite his lackluster production, he remains in the leadoff spot for the Royals.

Estevez pitched a perfect inning and struck out one to earn the save in a 7-5 win over the Cardinals in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader.

Estevez pitched in the day game as well, blowing a save and taking a loss in the 10th inning, but he threw just 10 pitches in that contest. That left him fresh enough to protect a two-run lead in the nightcap, and he was able to get the job done this time to earn his 18th save in 21 chances this season. He has a 1.95 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB across 27.2 innings while going relatively unchallenged as the Royals' closer.

Ragans (groin) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over three innings in a no-decision in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader versus the Royals.

Ragans squandered a four-run lead in the third inning, and that was enough to end his first start back after missing nearly three weeks with the groin injury. He wasn't very sharp, throwing just 47 of 78 pitches for strikes in his return. The southpaw has gone no more than five innings in any of his last six outings, and he's given up at least four runs in five of them. He's at a 5.18 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 76:16 K:BB through 48.2 innings over 10 starts this season. Ragans is tentatively projected to make his next start at home in a tough matchup against the Yankees.
