Jordyn Adams CF | MIL
Orioles' Jordyn Adams: DFA'd by Baltimore
The Orioles designated Adams for assignment Friday.
The 25-year-old had his contract selected by Baltimore last weekend, and he'll be jettisoned from the 26-man and 40-man rosters after going 0-for-1 with a run scored in five contests. Adams could return to Triple-A Norfolk, where he had a .661 OPS in 39 games this year, if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

Ramon Laureano LF | SD
Orioles' Ramon Laureano: Back from injured list
The Orioles reinstated Laureano (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Friday.
The veteran outfielder has been sidelined by an ankle sprain for the past couple weeks, but he's ready to rejoin the O's after going 3-for-8 with a double and a homer during a two-game rehab assignment. Laureano has a .266/.320/.532 slash line in 103 plate appearances this season, and he should be a regular in the lineup now that he's healthy since Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) and Cedric Mullins (hamstring) are still on the injured list.

Seth Brown LF | ATH
Athletics' Seth Brown: Rejoining big club
The Athletics are expected to add Brown to the major-league roster Friday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
The veteran outfielder was designated for assignment by the A's last week but remained in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. Brown played 33 big-league games before losing his roster spot and had a .212/.328/.308 slash line in 61 plate appearances.

Korey Lee C | CHW
White Sox's Korey Lee: Sent to Triple-A
The White Sox optioned Lee to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
The 26-year-old will lose his place on the MLB roster Friday with prospect Kyle Teel being called up for his first taste of the majors. Lee was reinstated from the injured list last week after going down with an ankle injury in early April, and he'll head to the minors with a .250/.300/.357 slash line in 31 big-league plate appearances this season.

Kyle Teel C | CHW
White Sox's Kyle Teel: Promotion official
The White Sox selected Teel's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
The 23-year-old is poised to make his MLB debut after posting a .295/.394/.492 slash line with eight homers and seven steals in 50 games for Charlotte to begin the season. Teel, who was acquired from the Red Sox as part of the Garrett Crochet trade in December, should split playing time behind the plate with Edgar Quero following Korey Lee's demotion to Triple-A on Friday. Teel has also been taking reps at first base but has yet to see game action there at the professional level, so he may need some time to get more comfortable at the position. The White Sox could also DH either of the young backstops to get them more playing time.

Kody Funderburk RP | MIN
Twins' Kody Funderburk: Sent to Triple-A
The Twins optioned Funderburk to Triple-A St. Paul on Friday.
Funderburk made seven appearances during his latest big-league stint but posted a poor 9.00 ERA and a 4:4 K:BB over eight innings. His spot on the 26-man roster will go to Travis Adams, who can provide the Twins' pitching staff with more length.

Travis Adams RP | MIN
Twins' Travis Adams: Officially brought up
The Twins recalled Adams from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday.
Adams has tallied a 3.43 ERA and a 37:10 K:BB over 42 innings mainly as a bulk reliever with St. Paul, and he'll join the big-league club Friday. With Pablo Lopez (shoulder) on the IL and David Festa having a bumpy return to the majors Thursday, there's a path for Adams to make some starts for the Twins, though he'll initially pitch out of the bullpen. Kody Funderburk was optioned to St. Paul in a corresponding move.

Angel Genao 2B | CLE
Guardians' Angel Genao: Activated Friday
Genao (shoulder) was activated from the 7-day injured list at Double-A Akron on Friday.
Genao, who turned 21 in May, generated buzz in the spring by growing an inch over the offseason and showing up to spring training much stronger, but a sprained right shoulder sidelined him for the first two months of the campaign. He slashed .308/.438/.654 with three home runs over eight rehab games in the Arizona Complex League.

Guardians' George Valera: Back from knee injury
Valera (knee) was reinstated from Triple-A Columbus' 7-day injured list Tuesday, SI.com reports.

Valera had a .789 OPS with 17 homers in 90 contests for Columbus last year, and he's gone 0-for-5 with a walk and three strikeouts in his first three Triple-A games of 2025.
