Sears (5-5) allowed four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three over five innings to earn the win over the Orioles on Friday.

Sears wasn't at his best, yielding two home runs in this outing, continuing a recent trend of trouble with the long ball. He's allowed nine homers over his last four starts. He's also failed to record more than four strikeouts in six straight outings, but the Athletics gave him enough support Friday to let the left-hander pick up his first win since April 28 versus the Rangers. Sears is now at a 5.21 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 49:14 K:BB through 67.1 innings over 13 starts. The 29-year-old is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Angels.

Trout took part in some outfield drills Friday, and Angels manager Ron Washington said he expects Trout to play right field in a game soon, Michael Huntley of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Since returning from a stint on the injured list due to a knee injury May 30, Trout has been limited to DH duties for the Angels. Friday marked the first time the slugger has performed outfield drills since that IL stint, and he's expected to do more drills Saturday. Trout shifted over to right field at the beginning of the season after spending most of his career in center, and it appears RF will remain his position when he's ready to play defense again. Trout went 0-for-4 as the DH in Friday's win over Seattle, his first game without a hit since he returned from the knee injury.

Martin didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Royals after giving up two runs on five hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out seven.

Martin submitted a season-high seven punchouts while turning in his fifth consecutive start of at least six frames. The right-hander is settling in as a serviceable member of Chicago's rotation in 2025, given he's now fired at least six innings while allowing two runs or fewer seven times among his 13 appearances. Martin's lack of strikeout upside may continue to limit his fantasy value, as he's averaging just 5.8 strikeouts per nine innings, but he owns a steady 3.62 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 48:17 K:BB through 74.2 innings ahead of his next scheduled start against the the Astros.

Lugo didn't factor into the decision Friday against the White Sox after giving up two runs on five hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out five.

After throwing a season-low 3.1 innings in his first start off the injured list last Friday, Lugo got back on track while firing at least five frames and surrendering two runs or fewer for the sixth time in 2025. The veteran right-hander has proven to be quite a consistent fantasy option thus far, considering he's allowed more than three runs just twice and worked fewer than five innings only once in 11 outings. Lugo holds a 3.46 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 50:19 K:BB over 65 innings, and he's tentatively scheduled to take the ball next week against the Athletics.

Williamson went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Angels.

Williamson went 0-for-7 with three strikeouts over his first three games in June, leading to a day off to reset Thursday. He bounced back well Friday, earning his fourth multi-hit effort in his last nine games. The third baseman hasn't shown much power, but he's slashing .252/.285/.311 with one home run, two steals, 13 RBI and 23 runs scored over 43 contests while hitting at the bottom of the order.

Gilbert (elbow) will make a third rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

After Gilbert threw 60 pitches in Wednesday's minor-league outing, the Mariners have opted to have him make at least one more appearance on his assignment before rejoining the major-league roster. The right-hander will aim to further build up his pitch count, and his next start after Tuesday could come from Seattle's rotation if all goes well. Gilbert's velocity was slightly diminished in his second rehab appearance, so that will be something to monitor in his third outing.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Angels.

Rodriguez has six multi-hit efforts and four steals over his last 11 games, batting .340 (16-for-47) in that span. His triple Friday was his third of the year, matching his career high for three-baggers. The outfielder has added a .248/.316/.416 slash line with 10 home runs, six doubles, 10 steals, 33 RBI and 39 runs scored over 61 contests.

Miller (2-5) allowed five runs on six hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings to take the loss Friday versus the Angels.

Miller has given up eight runs over nine innings across two starts since he returned from right elbow inflammation. It's unclear how much the issue is bothering him, but his performance simply isn't up to par currently. The right-hander's poor start Friday put him at a 5.73 ERA with a 1.52 WHIP and 39:23 K:BB across 48.2 innings through 10 starts. The 26-year-old is tentatively projected for a road start in Arizona his next time out.

Taylor went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.

This was Taylor's first multi-hit effort of the season. He has gone 4-for-21 with a walk and eight strikeouts over seven games since signing with the Angels after he was released by the Dodgers in mid-May. Taylor has contributed a steal, three RBI, eight runs scored and four doubles over 57 plate appearances this season. He'll likely continue to serve in a reserve role during his time with the Angels.

Neto went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and one RBI in Friday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.

Neto got on base on an error in the first inning but was caught stealing. He then delivered an RBI single in the third and swiped second, logging his first successful steal since May 21. The shortstop has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, going 10-for-44 (.227) in that span. He's providing well-rounded production overall, batting .270 with an .818 OPS, 10 home runs, nine steals on 12 attempts, 24 RBI and 34 runs scored over 44 contests.
