Ford is slashing .313/.427/.490 with eight home runs, three steals and a 17.2 percent strikeout rate in 50 games for Triple-A Tacoma.

The 5-foot-10 catcher has only attempted five steals after swiping 35 bases in 116 games at Double-A a year ago, but otherwise he's having his best season to date. If the Mariners want to be buyers at the deadline, Ford could be on the move, but as things stand he's blocked by Cal Raleigh in Seattle and is not yet on the 40-man roster.

Yesavage gave up one run on one hit and four walks over four innings in his debut for Double-A New Hampshire on Thursday. He struck out four.

The 21-year-old righty walked the first three batters he faced as he showed a clear case of nerves, but Yesavage regained his focus and escaped the jam allowing only a sacrifice fly before shutting down Reading over the next three frames. He got lifted after 68 pitches (41 strikes), and the display of resilience should only boost Yesavage's prospect standing. In his first professional season after being the 20th overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft, the East Carolina product has a combined 2.14 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 92:23 K:BB in just 54.2 innings across three levels.

Thomas is slashing .301/.361/.568 with 16 home runs and three steals in 61 games for Triple-A Las Vegas.

Thomas played 73 games at Triple-A last year, and he has cut his strikeout rate from 30.3 percent in 2024 to 26.3 percent this year while upping his hard-hit rate from 36.4 percent to 40.5 percent. Thomas isn't on the 40-man roster and is best suited to play corner outfield, so he may need an injury or a trade to get a look in the coming weeks, even though it seems like his bat is ready for a new challenge.

Ginn (quadriceps) struck out five batters and allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks across 3.1 innings in a rehab start Wednesday with Triple-A Las Vegas.

Ginn tossed 72 pitches (42 strikes) in his second rehab outing with Las Vegas since landing on the 15-day injured list May 20 due to a strained right quad. The Athletics haven't confirmed Ginn's next steps, but the right-hander could be ready to return from the IL as soon as Monday versus the Astros. Jacob Lopez or Mitch Spence are most at risk of falling out of the rotation when Ginn returns.

Athletics director of sports medicine Brian Schulman said June 2 that Andujar is recovering from a Grade 2 right oblique strain, which will keep him out for "a couple weeks, if not longer," MLB.com reports.

Andujar landed on the 10-day injured list June 2 after suffering the oblique injury on a swing a day earlier. He's eligible to come off the IL this weekend, but Andujar doesn't appear to have resumed baseball activities yet and could be sidelined at least until late June or early July.

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 16-3 win over the Twins.

Garcia's bat continued to come to life since he returned from a multi-day break amid a slump. Thursday's homer was his first since May 24, and he's gone 8-for-29 with three extra-base hits and six RBI over the last eight games. An even better sign is that Garcia's last three hits have gone for extra bases.

Smith started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with a walk, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Thursday's 16-3 win over Minnesota.

Smith homered to lead off the game, setting up the Rangers to score 16 runs for the second time in the series. He has multiple hits in four straight contests and six in 10 games during the month of June, during which he's gone 15-for-42 (.357) with four doubles, two home runs, seven RBI, two steals and seven runs. The versatile Smith will be in the lineup whenever the Rangers face a right-hander, either to give Corey Seager a breather at shortstop as he did Thursday, or at first base in place of Jake Burger, who has been deployed at designated hitter four times in the last seven contests.

Eovaldi (triceps) could be ready to throw a bullpen session this weekend, MLB.com reports.

Eovaldi recently began playing catch after undergoing further testing back in Arlington. Rehab appears to be progressing as expected for the right-hander, but he remains without a clear timeline for his return to the Rangers' rotation.

Pena went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Thursday's 4-3 victory over the White Sox.

Pena keeps piling up multi-hit games, with Thursday's showing being his 24th of the campaign already. Seven of those have come in the month of June, and over his last 17 contests and 70 at-bats, the speedy shortstop is hitting .414 with three homers, six doubles, eight RBI, 13 runs scored and eight stolen bases.

Altuve went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two doubles, a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's 4-3 victory over the White Sox.

Altuve filled up the box score, and he tallied his third consecutive multi-hit effort. Thursday also marked the veteran second baseman's third game with multiple extra-base hits on the year, and he's really begun to heat up at the plate recently. Across his last 18 outings (70 at-bats), Altuve is batting .371 with five homers, three doubles, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored.
