Gordon (2-1) picked up the win in Friday's 10-3 rout of the Twins, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

The rookie southpaw produced his first career quality start on 102 pitches (67 strikes) -- in fact, it was the first time in six trips to the mound he's lasted at least six innings. Both runs off Gordon came on solo shots, and he's been taken deep six times in 30.2 innings to begin his big-league career, fueling a 4.70 ERA despite a sharp 30:4 K:BB. He's scheduled to make his next start on the road next week against the A's.

France went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Astros.

The first baseman got hold of a Steven Okert slider in the ninth inning, on a night when all of Minnesota's offense came on solo homers. It was France's fifth long ball of the year and his first since May 23, ending an 18-game drought, but he stayed productive despite the lack of power by batting .338 (23-for-68) with nine runs and 10 RBI during that stretch.

Castro went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Astros.

All three Twins runs came on solo shots, with Castro getting his team on the board by taking Colton Gordon deep in the fourth inning. Castro has been on fire since the end of May, slashing .408/.491/.796 over his last 14 games with five homers, 10 RBI and 12 runs, and with Royce Lewis (hamstring) suffering another injury Friday, the 28-year-old utility player will have a little less competition for playing time in the immediate future.

Paddack (2-6) took the loss Friday, surrendering nine runs (eight earned) on 12 hits and a walk over four innings as Minnesota was dropped 10-3 by Houston. He struck out only one.

The nine runs and dozen hits were both career worsts for Paddack, who coughed up at least one run in every frame until he got lifted after 85 pitches (56 strikes). Some regression was probably overdue -- the rough outing ended a stretch of 11 straight starts allowing three runs or fewer. He posted a 2.25 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 48:16 K:BB in 64 innings during that span. Paddack will look to rebound in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come on the road next week in Cincinnati.

Houser (2-2) took the loss Friday against the Rangers, giving up three runs on six hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out two.

Houser entered Friday on a four-game streak of quality starts, but he came one inning short of extending that stretch. The 32-year-old right-hander issued a season-high four walks, but his results since joining Chicago's rotation have certainly been impressive. Houser sports a 2.15 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB through his first 29.1 innings, which gives him some streaming appeal in his next scheduled outing versus a Cardinals club with a .646 OPS against righties over their last 21 games.

Bradley took a no-decision Friday against the Mets, giving up five runs (none earned) on four hits and four walks in four innings. He struck out five.

Bradley lost the plate in the fifth inning, seeing four consecutive batters reach base before being pulled from the game, but none of his runs allowed were earned due to a pair of fielding errors. The four walks matched a season high for the right-hander, but he has managed to keep the hits down in 2025 by allowing five or fewer on 10 occasions among 14 starts. Overall, Bradley owns a respectable 4.35 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 71:33 K:BB over 78.2 innings ahead of his next scheduled outing versus the Orioles.

Jones went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 7-2 loss to the Mariners.

Jones went 0-for-8 with two walks and three strikeouts over his previous five games, though he was mostly limited to pinch-hitting duties during a stretch of four straight left-handed starters facing the Guardians. He had previously been holding down a near-everyday role to begin June, but Johnathan Rodriguez is platooning with Jones in right field now. Jones' second stint in Cleveland isn't going all that well, as he has a .212/.299/.321 slash line with three homers, 17 RBI, 12 runs scored, three stolen bases, six doubles and a triple over 178 plate appearances.

Kwan went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-2 loss to the Mariners.

Kwan went back-to-back with Nolan Jones in the third inning. Beyond that, there wasn't much success for the Cleveland offense, as Kwan had half of the team's four hits. He has four multi-hit efforts over his last 10 games, going 11-for-36 (.306) in that span. The light-hitting outfielder is up to six homers, 23 RBI, 32 runs scored, nine stolen bases and a .308/.370/.435 slash line over 65 contests this season. He's locked in as Cleveland's regular leadoff hitter.

Williams allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out one over four innings in a no-decision Friday versus the Mariners.

Williams threw just 55 of 89 pitches for strikes, and he wasn't able to dial up enough strikeouts to make things go smoother. The result was an inefficient outing, the second time in four starts he's failed to complete five frames. Williams has maintained a 3.89 ERA this season, but his 1.47 WHIP and 72:39 K:BB over 69.1 innings are a little less encouraging. The right-hander is projected to make his next start on the road in San Francisco.

Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a walk, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 7-2 win over the Guardians.

Arozarena was one of seven Mariners with multiple hits in a 16-hit parade for the home team. The outfielder has four multi-hit efforts and three steals across his last six games, batting .407 (11-for-27) in that span. Arozarena had struggled with the bat early in the year, so any progress is good at this point. He's posted a .233/.346/.396 slash line with eight home runs, 12 steals, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored, 14 doubles and a triple over 66 games.
