France (shoulder) will throw another live batting practice session Friday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

France has already thrown a pair of live batting practice sessions in June and will be in line for a third. He threw 20 pitches last Friday and should increase that number this time around.

Dezenzo (hand) has not resumed hitting since being placed on the injured list June 3, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

There haven't been many updates on Dezenzo's status, likely because he hasn't made much progress in his recovery from a capsule strain in his hand. There's no timeline for his return, though he'll almost certainly be out until July.

Tauchman exited the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against St. Louis with right groin soreness, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Tauchman entered the game as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and reached base on a single and a walk in his two plate appearances. However, he was removed from the contest after being thrown out at home in the ninth frame. Tauchman is considered day-to-day but has spent much of the 2025 season on the injured list due to a hamstring injury, so it's possible the issues are related.

White was returned to Triple-A Charlotte following the White Sox's doubleheader against St. Louis on Thursday.

White pitched 2.1 scoreless innings in the second game, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out one. It was his second appearance in the majors this season, and he's likely to be back with the big-league club at some point this summer if injuries occur.

Adell went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Yankees.

Adell put the Angels ahead 2-1 in the second inning with an opposite-field blast off Carlos Rodon, his 15th homer this year. The 26-year-old Adell has now homered in back-to-back games after going 0-for-10 over the prior three contests. Overall, he's slashing .221/.293/.471 with 37 RBI, 25 runs scored and three steals across 230 plate appearances this year.

McCormick (oblique) is likely to face live pitching within the next week, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

McCormick has been on the injured list since May 31 and resumed swinging Friday. He's still a way away from being activated, however, as manager Joe Espada said McCormick will require a rehab assignment.

Garcia (elbow) is expected to throw a live batting practice session within the next week, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Garcia has thrown at least three bullpen sessions since May 24, most recently throwing 25 pitches. Live batting practice will be a significant milestone in his recovery as he continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery.

Grisham went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a double and a second run scored in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Angels.

Grisham put the Yankees ahead with his 14th homer of the season and first since May 30, a 408-foot blast off Tyler Anderson in the second inning. The 28-year-old Grisham had cooled off at the plate prior to Thursday's contest, going just 4-for-22 in his previous six games. Overall, he's batting .245 with an .823 OPS, 30 RBI and 35 runs scored across 245 plate appearances this year.

Paddack (3-6) picked up the win Thursday against the Reds, allowing four runs on six hits and no walks with three strikeouts over five innings.

Fresh off a nine-run, 12-hit start last week, Paddack failed to bounce back Thursday, yielding a trio of extra-base hits, including a two-run home run by Gavin Lux. It's been an uncharacteristic stretch of play for Paddack, who had allowed two or fewer runs in six consecutive starts before his past two outings. On the year, Paddack owns a 4.48 ERA and a 56:23 K:BB across 80.1 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Mariners in his next start.

Kjerstad exited Thursday's game with Triple-A Norfolk after fouling a ball off his right knee, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Thursday's game was Kjerstad's fourth game with Norfolk since being demoted by Baltimore. He had gone just 2-for-15 with five strikeouts prior to exiting Thursday's game. The severity of the injury is not known.
