Thornton threw 2.1 scoreless innings of relief before exiting Saturday's eventual 10-7 loss to the Cubs due to heat exhaustion, per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. He allowed one hit and two walks while fanning three.

Thornton had to be helped off the field in the eighth inning, but he's not expected to require additional medical treatment away from the team. After throwing a season-high 51 pitches Saturday, Thornton figures to get a few days off before he's available out of Seattle's bullpen again anyway since he covered multiple frames. The 31-year-old right-hander missed about a month of action due to appendicitis earlier this year, and he's mostly struggled with a 6.35 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB over 22.2 innings.

Bello (3-2) took the loss against the Giants on Saturday, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings.

All three runs charged to Bello came via two home runs, including a two-run shot by former teammate Rafael Devers. Despite taking the loss, the 26-year-old has delivered four straight quality starts in June and has recorded 14 strikeouts over his last two outings. He'll carry a 3.31 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 51:29 K:BB across 65.1 innings into a home matchup with the Blue Jays next weekend.

Langeliers (oblique) participated in batting practice Saturday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Langeliers landed on the 10-day injured list in early June due to a left oblique strain, but he has progressed enough in his recovery to resume swinging a bat. Whether Langeliers will need to embark on a rehab assignment will largely depend on how his oblique reacts to increased work. He was slashing .237/.300/.430 with four steals, 10 doubles, 10 home runs and 27 RBI in 230 plate appearances prior to his injury.

Triple-A St. Paul placed Morris on its 7-day injured list Saturday due to a right forearm strain, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Morris likely suffered the injury during his most recent start against Toledo on Thursday, when he allowed two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out eight across four innings. He'll undergo further tests to evaluate the severity of the injury, but Morris will likely be shut down from throwing beyond the minimum seven days. Across 13 starts at the Triple-A level this season, Morris has posted a 4.41 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 60:24 K:BB over 63.1 innings.

McCullers (foot) played catch Saturday and is scheduled to do so again Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Manager Joe Espada relayed that McCullers could start throwing off a mound Monday as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks. McCullers landed on the 15-day injured list this past Monday due to a right foot sprain. How his foot reacts to increased work will give the Astros a better sense of when McCullers can embark on a rehab assignment, if one is needed.

Martin (back) tossed a perfect ninth inning in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Pirates, striking out two batters to earn the save.

Martin had been out of action earlier in the week due to back stiffness, but he returned Friday and logged a hold after tossing a scoreless eighth inning. He got the call over Robert Garcia in Saturday's game and was tasked to protect the Rangers' one-run lead. Martin needed only 12 pitches (nine strikes) to get through the frame and capped things off by striking out Ke'Bryan Hayes. Martin now sports a 1.48 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 28:3 K:BB across 24.1 innings this season, and he's converted both of his save chances.

Rocker (3-4) earned the win against Pittsburgh on Saturday, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four across 5.1 innings.

Rocker was given a second shot in the rotation since Nathan Eovaldi (triceps) and Tyler Mahle (shoulder) are both still on the injured list. Rocker's first start this past Sunday against the White Sox was cut short due to cramping, but he didn't run into any such issues in Saturday's contest. He kept the Pirates off the board through the first four innings before giving up a run in each of the fifth and sixth frames, but he got enough run support to come away with the win. Eovaldi is expected to be activated off the IL during the Rangers' upcoming road series against the Orioles, but Rocker could get one more turn in the rotation if Mahle isn't cleared to return. That would put Rocker in line to start against the Mariners at home next weekend.

Civale (1-4) took the loss against Toronto on Saturday, allowing five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out two across seven innings.

Civale put the White Sox on the back foot after yielding a leadoff home run to Bo Bichette before giving up three more runs on five singles in the second. Civale seemed to settle in and kept the Blue Jays off the board over the next four frames, but he was tagged for another run on a Vladimir Guerrero solo shot in the seventh. It was Civale's longest outing of the season, but it was the second start in which he allowed five runs, and he now sits with a 5.03 ERA and 1.47 WHIP across 34 innings. He'll look for his first win with the White Sox in his next start, tentatively slated for next weekend at home against the Giants.

Bichette went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-1 win over the White Sox.

Bichette set the tone early Saturday with a leadoff home run off Aaron Civale. It was Bichette's 11th homer of the season, three of which have come over his last five games. He has slashed .273/.296/.481 with 11 runs scored, four home runs and 14 RBI in 81 plate appearances since the beginning of June.

Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-1 win over the White Sox.

Guerrero extended the Blue Jays' lead to four runs in the seventh, when he took Aaron Civale deep to left-center field for a solo homer. It was Guerrero's 10th home run of the season, and the All-Star first baseman has recorded at least one RBI in six of his last nine games. Over that span, he has gone 11-for-34 (.324) with one steal, four doubles, two home runs and 10 RBI.
