McGonigle is batting .382 with a 1.167 OPS, five home runs and 28 RBI across 26 games for High-A West Michigan.

Before going 0-for-3 on Tuesday, McGonigle was riding a nine-game hitting streak, which included both a four-hit and a five-hit effort. The 20-year-old, who was selected with the No. 37 overall pick back in 2023, has quickly established himself as one of the best pure hitters in the minors. McGonigle has yet to appear above the High-A level and is likely still a few years away from the majors, but he's worth keeping a close eye on, particularly in dynasty formats.

Over his last eight games for High-A West Michigan, Clark has a .988 OPS, one home run, two stolen bases, six RBI and eight runs scored.

Clark has been solid all season at High-A, but he's really kicking things into high gear recently with four multi-hit efforts over those eight contests. He's now slashing .263/.417/.392 overall across 58 games for the Whitecaps. The 20-year-old is one of the top prospects in baseball, and while the Tigers figure to be patient with him, Clark is already showcasing the skills that make him such an intriguing talent.

Waldichuk (elbow) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Waldichuk tossed three scoreless innings, allowing one hit while hitting a batter and striking out four in a rehab start with Single-A Stockton on Sunday. He will now shift his minor-league rehab assignment to Las Vegas as he reaches the final stages of his recovery from Tommy John surgery, which took place in May 2024. Waldichuk last pitched with the Athletics in 2023, posting a 5.36 ERA and 1.56 WHIP with 132 strikeouts over 141 innings in 35 appearances, including 22 starts.

Langeliers (oblique) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Langeliers has been on the shelf since June 6 while recovering from a left oblique strain, but he appears to be on the cusp of a return to action. The catcher will likely require at least a couple of rehab games to regain his timing at the plate, but once activated from the 10-day injured list, he should reclaim his usual duties as the Athletics' No. 1 backstop. Austin Wynns and Willie MacIver have been splitting playing time at the position since Langeliers was deactivated.

Enns is expected to be called up from Triple-A Toledo to start Thursday's game against the Athletics, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Enns joined Detroit on a minor-league deal in December and will get a look with the big club after posting a 2.89 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 71:15 K:BB across 62.1 innings (14 starts) with Toledo. The left-hander last appeared in the majors in 2021 with the Rays and delivered a 2.82 ERA in nine bullpen appearances before he spent the subsequent three seasons pitching overseas. Detroit is expected to get Reese Olson (finger) back from the injured list next week, so Enns may be in store for just one turn through the rotation before heading back to Triple-A.

O'Neill (shoulder) had his minor-league rehab assignment moved to Double-A Chesapeake on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

O'Neill began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on June 7 before being shut down with renewed soreness in his left shoulder. The outfielder resumed playing with High-A Aberdeen on Sunday, going 1-for-3 with two strikeouts. He has now reported to Chesapeake for the next step in his recovery from a left shoulder impingement, and O'Neill will likely head to Triple-A in the coming days for his final destination before potentially returning to the major-league roster. O'Neill has been out since May 18, having posted a disappointing .188 average with two home runs, 10 RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases over 80 at-bats in 24 games with the Orioles before going down with the injury.

Schanuel isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Boston, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Schanuel doesn't typically exit the lineup against left-handed starters, but he will do so Tuesday with Garrett Crochet on the mound for the Red Sox. LaMonte Wade will take over at first base and bat eighth while Schanuel rests.

Cowser is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Cowser started the previous eight games and had a .943 OPS with three homers during that stretch, but he'll take a seat against Texas lefty Jacob Latz on Tuesday. Dylan Carlson, Cedric Mullins and Ramon Laureano will start from left to right in the outfield for Baltimore.

Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said Tuesday that "all indications" are that Westburg (finger) will be ready to return to the lineup Wednesday against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Westburg will miss a third straight start Tuesday with a sprained left index finger. There's a chance the Orioles will hold him out Wednesday with an off day looming Thursday, but Mansolino said Westburg will "definitely" play Friday, if not before.

Vierling (shoulder) will return to Triple-A Toledo's lineup Wednesday after being scratched Sunday due to an illness, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Vierling had his rehab assignment slowed by the ailment but will return to game action after just a few days of rest and recovery. The 28-year-old has gone 4-for-20 through five games on the rehab assignment and may not be far off from returning from the 10-day injured list.
