Clase is not in the Blue Jays' starting lineup against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Clase will begin the game on the bench after going 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Friday's 9-0 win. George Springer, Myles Straw and Nathan Lukes will start for in the outfield Toronto from left to right.

Williamson is not in Seattle's starting lineup against Texas on Saturday.

Miles Mastrobuoni will start at the keystone and bat eighth while Williamson begins Saturday's game on the bench. Williamson has gone 6-for-18 (.333) with four runs scored over his last five starts.

Polanco is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Rangers on Saturday.

Polanco will take a seat after going 1-for-4 with two walks and two RBI during Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win. Julio Rodriguez will serve as the Mariners' designated hitter while Randy Arozarena, Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone start in the outfield from left to right.

The Blue Jays recalled Wagner from Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.

Wagner made Toronto's Opening Day roster but was optioned to Triple-A in late April after Daulton Varsho (hamstring) returned from the 10-day injured list. Wagner spent nearly a month on Buffalo's 7-day IL due to a foot injury but has gone 11-for-41 (.268) with one steal, four doubles, one home run and six RBI since being reinstated from the IL in mid-June. The Blue Jays optioned Alan Roden to Buffalo in a corresponding move.

The move makes room on the 26-man roster for Will Wagner, who was recalled from Triple-A. Roden made the Blue Jays' Opening Day roster, and after a brief stint in the minors he returned to the big leagues at the end of May. He's gone 7-for-24 (.292) with two doubles and three RBI since the beginning of June. He has seen sparse playing time in the majors and will get more reps in an everyday role in Triple-A.

Westburg (hand) is not in the Orioles' starting lineup against the Rays on Saturday.

Westburg aggravated his left index finger injury during Friday's win over the Rays. He's considered day-to-day and could be available off the bench as a pinch hitter. Ramon Urias will start at third base and bat second.

The Red Sox transferred Slaten (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

The move to the 60-day IL means that Slaten will not return to the majors until late July. The move isn't all that surprising, considering the 27-year-old right-hander was recently cleared to start a throwing program as he works through right shoulder inflammation. In corresponding moves, Boston placed Luis Guerrero (elbow) on the 15-day IL and reinstated Chris Murphy (elbow) from the 60-day IL.

The Red Sox placed Guerrero on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to a right elbow strain.

Guerrero allowed four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out one batter over his last two outings, and his elbow injury may have played a part in his recent poor performance. He's eligible to be reinstated July 13, but a strained elbow to the throwing arm typically results in a longer-than-minimum stint on the IL. To bolster their bullpen, the Red Sox reinstated Chris Murphy (elbow) from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move.

Murphy is ready to return to the the Red Sox's bullpen after fully recovering from April 2024 Tommy John surgery. He posted a 4.91 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB across 14.2 innings during his rehab assignment. In corresponding moves, Luis Guerrero (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list and Justin Slaten (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day IL.

Robert (hamstring) is not in the White Sox's starting lineup against the Giants on Saturday.

Robert will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he was removed from Wednesday's contest against Arizona due to left hamstring tightness. The White Sox will start Andrew Benintendi, Michael Taylor and Austin Slater in the outfield from left to right.
