Hamilton is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Hamilton has now hit the bench in four of the Red Sox's last five matchups, with Boston facing three lefties and two righties during that stretch. The Red Sox have continued to rotate a number of players at second base, as Romy Gonzalez, Marcelo Mayer (personal) and Nick Sogard have also seen starts at the position within the past week. Mayer could end up settling in as the primary option at the keystone when Alex Bregman (quadriceps) returns from the injured list and steps back in as the Red Sox's everyday third baseman.

The Yankees activated Stroman (knee) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Sunday against the Athletics at Yankee Stadium.

For the first time since April 11, Stroman will be taking the hill for the Yankees after an inflamed left knee kept him on the shelf for more than two and a half months. According to Ronald Blum of the Associated Press, Stroman said that his knee pain stemmed from a torn ACL suffered a decade earlier, and the right-hander could continue to require treatment in between starts to handle the rigors of the long season. After the extended downtime, Stroman didn't look especially sharp during his three-start rehab assignment at Double-A Somerset, as he turned in a 6.97 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 9:5 K:BB over 10.1 innings. Stroman built up to 65 pitches in his final start with Somerset and could be operating with a light workload restriction in his return to the Yankees rotation Sunday.

Torres went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and two total runs scored in Saturday's 10-5 win over the Twins.

Torres hit his second home run in the last three days, giving him four long balls this month and nine total for the season. The infielder's power surge is notable, as his four June home runs have come across 25 games, while he had five long balls in his previous 46 contests. At this rate, last year's mark of 15 home runs with the Yankees is well within reach, and Torres could reach the 20-homer plateau for the fifth time in his career if he stays dialed in.

Carpenter went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 10-5 win over the Twins.

Carpenter was one of four Detroit players to go deep, launching his 15th home run of the season in the third inning against Bailey Ober. Carpenter has recorded 13 of his long balls against righties while compiling a .780 OPS, compared to just a .600 OPS against southpaws. Due to his splits, the lefty slugger will likely sit often in same-handed matchups, but he's a strong fantasy option when a righty is on the mound.

Toro went 2-for-3 with two walks, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 15-1 win over Toronto.

Toro was one of eight members of the starting lineup to record multiple hits and one of five with multiple RBI in a stat-padding day at Fenway Park. The stolen base was his first of the year. He's been scuffling with a .176 batting average over the previous 15 games, but with an unsettled situation at first base and Alex Bregman (quadriceps) and Marcelo Mayer (bereavement) currently unavailable for duty at third base, there's still paths to playing time for Toro despite the offensive downturn.

Murphy walked two and struck out two over two scoreless innings in Saturday's 15-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Murphy, who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Friday, made his first appearance for the Red Sox since undergoing Tommy John surgery in April of 2024. The southpaw will remain in a low-leverage role as he works off the rust.

Osuna started in left field and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

Osuna was the automatic runner in the bottom of the 10th and scored the winning run on Marcus Semien's bases-loaded single. The start was the fourth straight for Osuna, who is getting some additional opportunities with Wyatt Langford (oblique) on the 10-day injured list. The lefty-hitting Osuna could be in the lineup most days when the Rangers are facing a right-hander, as they do Sunday when Seattle sends Luis Castillo to the bump.

Semien went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning win over Seattle.

Semien's bases-loaded single in the 10th inning gave the Rangers a walk-off win. It was the third consecutive game with an RBI for Semien, who is slashing .312/.365/.527 with 14 RBI during 24 games in June.

Guardians president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti said Saturday that DeLauter has built up to playing at least five games per week, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

DeLauter opened the season on the injured list while recovering from core-muscle surgery, which he underwent in March. He made his 2025 debut for Triple-A Columbus in early May, but ongoing soreness caused the organization to manage his workload. The frequent rest days seem to have paid off, as DeLauter is currently riding a 26-game on-base streak, during which he's posted a .309/.426/.543 slash line with 11 extra-base hits, 17 RBI and 21 runs. Meanwhile, the Cleveland offense has gone into a slumber, sitting last in MLB this month in runs per game (2.87) and batting average (.208), so the 23-year-old may get his chance to help the big club sooner rather than later.

Bazzana (oblique) began baseball activities last week at the Guardians' spring training complex in Arizona, MLB.com reports.

The first overall pick in 2024 is still "a few weeks away" from game action, per Guardians team president Chris Antonetti. At the time of his injury and placement on the 7-day injured list May 21, the club estimated an 8-to-10 week timeline for Bazzana's return.
