Buehler (5-6) yielded four runs on four hits and three walks over four innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against Toronto.

Buehler got into trouble immediately Sunday, serving up back-to-back homers to Addison Barger and Vladimir Guerrero in the first inning. Toronto then plated two more runs in the fourth. Buehler walked in a run during that fourth frame and has issued 14 free passes over his last three appearances. During that span, he's seen his season ERA jump from 5.01 to 6.45 across 67 total innings. Buehler is 1-5 with a 9.29 ERA over his last seven starts. He's in line to start in Washington next weekend.

Lauer did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over Boston. He allowed three runs on seven hits over 4.1 innings while striking out four.

Lauer coughed up a pair of runs in the second inning before Boston plated one more in the fifth. He had given up four runs over his previous 24.1 innings (1.48 ERA) entering Sunday's outing. Lauer went 3-0 during that span but hasn't completed six innings in any appearance this season. Still, he owns a 2.60 ERA with a 45:14 K:BB through 45 frames this season. Lauer's next outing is expected to be at home against the Angels.

Carpenter was removed in the fifth inning of Sunday's game against the Twins due to a right hamstring injury, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports. He went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an RBI triple prior to exiting the game.

Carpenter appeared to tweak his hamstring while running out of the batter's box on his fifth-inning triple, resulting in the Tigers lifting him from the contest for a pinch runner. The Tigers should have an update on Carpenter's injury status during or shortly after Sunday's game once he undergoes further testing.

VanWey (undisclosed) struck out a batter and allowed no hits and no walks over a scoreless inning of relief for Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

VanWey was out of action for Sugar Land for about a month before he was cleared to rejoin the Triple-A bullpen. The 25-year-old reliever was previously up with the Astros earlier this season and gave up six earned runs on 15 hits and three walks over 8.2 innings.

The White Sox pulled Scholtens off his minor-league rehab assignment after he experienced discomfort in his surgically repaired right elbow following his most recent start June 4 with Triple-A Charlotte, MLB.com reports.

Before being shut down, Scholtens had compiled a 5.96 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 15:9 K:BB in 22.2 innings across his six rehab starts between Charlotte and High-A Winston-Salem. Given that Scholtens underwent Tommy John surgery last February, the White Sox are likely to proceed cautiously with the right-hander before sending him back out on a rehab assignment. Scholtens' lone big-league action previously came with the White Sox back in 2023, when he submitted a 5.29 ERA in 85 innings over 26 appearances (11 starts).

Waldichuk (elbow) gave up two runs (one earned) on one hit and two walks while striking out one batter over 2.1 innings in his rehab start Saturday with Triple-A Las Vegas.

After tossing three shutout innings in his first rehab outing with Single-A Stockton on June 22, Waldichuk moved up to Triple-A for his second appearance. Though he wasn't nearly as efficient Saturday as he had been in his previous outing, Waldichuk pushed up his pitch count from 42 to 51. The Athletics appear prepared to let Waldichuk get stretched out for a starting role during his rehab assignment, but his performance will likely determine whether he enters the big-league rotation once he's activated from the 60-day injured list. Waldichuk has been on the shelf all season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent last May.

Triple-A Las Vegas placed Otanez on its 7-day injured list June 8 due to an unspecified injury.

The 27-year-old right-hander possesses a spot on the Athletics' 40-man roster but had been with Las Vegas since late May after getting optioned. Otanez owns a 5.40 ERA, 2.26 WHIP and 9:6 K:BB in 6.2 innings over seven relief appearances with the Triple-A club this season.

Single-A Kannapolis activated Albertus (tibia) from its 7-day injured list Tuesday.

Albertus has yet to make his debut for Kannapolis, but he's apparently healthy again after he recently wrapped up an eight-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, during which he slashed .333/.520/.444 with three stolen bases across 25 plate appearances. Acquired last July in a three-team deal with the Dodgers and Cardinals, Albertus didn't make his organizational debut with the White Sox until earlier this month while completing his recovery from surgery to reset a fractured left tibia.

Enns is scheduled to start Thursday's game against the Nationals in Washington, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

The left-hander made his first MLB appearance since 2021 last Thursday against the Athletics in what was expected to be a spot start, but he'll receive another turn through the rotation after allowing just one hit across five scoreless frames. Another strong performance could keep Enns in the rotation on a longer-term basis, even with Reese Olson (finger) potentially making his return from the injured list this week.

Bellinger went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer, a double and three total runs scored in Sunday's 12-5 win over the A's.

Bellinger extended the Yankees' lead to 10-1 in the fifth inning with his home run off lefty Hogan Harris, his 11th of the year and just his second in 19 games. While he hadn't been hitting for much power, Bellinger has certainly been productive at the plate, going 17-for-42 (.405) in his last 10 games. Overall, he's slashing .270/.332/.460 with 42 RBI, 40 runs scored and eight stolen bases through 319 plate appearances this season.
