Orioles' Cade Povich: Back to throwing
Povich (hip) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
The left-hander was pulled off his rehab assignment in late May due to renewed soreness in his left hip, but after being re-evaluated and receiving a second opinion, he was cleared to resume throwing. Wednesday will be Povich's second bullpen session since the soreness resurfaced, and he could resume the rehab assignment soon if he avoids further issues.

Orioles' Albert Suarez: Throwing off mound soon
Suarez (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session later this week, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
It will be his first time throwing from the bump since going down with a right shoulder strain in late March. Suarez is hoping to contribute to the Orioles at some point after the All-Star break, but he still has numerous boxes to check.

The Royals transferred Ragans (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

According to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com, Hendriks recently suffered a setback with his right hip injury and is seeking a second opinion. He's been out since late May and now won't be eligible for activation until late July. The move frees a 40-man roster spot for the addition of Isaiah Campbell.

Red Sox's Richard Fitts: Sent back to minors
The Red Sox optioned Fitts to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
With Hunter Dobbins (elbow) likely to return later this week and the All-Star break looming, Fitts will head to Worcester where he can remain on a regular starter's schedule. He could rejoin the rotation after the break, although it's not a guarantee since Tanner Houck (elbow) is nearing a return.
