Anthony went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Saturday's 1-0 win over Tampa Bay.

Anthony extended his hit streak to eight games in the fourth inning, when he legged out a double on a ball hit to right field with an exit velocity of 103.4 mph. With Masataka Yoshida back on the roster and most likely starting at DH, Boston's crowded outfield mix could change on a daily basis, with Ceddanne Rafaela moving from center field to second base Saturday to accommodate Anthony, Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu. Anthony has made an impressive adjustment to MLB pitching. After batting .114 over his first 15 games in the majors, he's hit safely in 13 of his last 14 starts, posting a .379/.438/.534 slash line with seven extra-base hits, eight RBI and 13 runs scored during that stretch.

Jimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the A's.

The 24-year-old infielder took Jacob Lopez deep in the second inning for the game's first run. It was Jimenez's first big-league homer this season in eight contests after he popped four in 63 games as a rookie in 2024, but just his second hit in 16 at-bats since his promotion at the beginning of the month. He's been splitting the workload at second base with Ernie Clement while Andres Gimenez (ankle) has been on the shelf, but the Blue Jays have plenty of options to fill that spot if Jimenez doesn't supply more consistent offense.

Trout went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 10-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

His big blow was a two-run homer off Zac Gallen in the fifth inning, which gave the Halos a 6-2 lead. Trout is finding a groove heading into the All-Star break, going yard four times in the last seven games, and the 33-year-old is closing in on some big career milestones -- he needs five more home runs to reach 400, and six more RBI to hit 1,000.

Kikuchi (4-6) picked up the win in Saturday's 10-5 victory over the Diamondbacks, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

The southpaw served up a pair of solo shots to Eugenio Suarez but otherwise was in control until the sixth inning, when a 105 mph Josh Naylor comebacker with two outs struck him on the left shoulder. He stayed in the game for one more batter, but after a Randal Grichuk RBI single made it a 6-3 game, interim manager Ray Montgomery elected to lift the Angels' lone All-Star representative as a precaution, leaving him one out shy of his ninth quality start. There's been no word yet that he sustained any kind of lingering injury, and Kikuchi heads into the break with a 3.11 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 115:49 K:BB through 113 innings.

Houck is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list this week with his 30-day rehab window coming to a close Thursday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Houck's rehab stint got off to a rocky start, but he's performed better over his last two outings with Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester, allowing just one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out 10 over 9.1 innings. Despite his recent success, the right-hander is not expected to be inserted into Boston's starting rotation, with Richard Fitts getting the first chance to fill the vacancy created by Hunter Dobbins' season-ending knee injury. Houck still has two minor-league options left and could stick around with Worcester while continuing on a starter's trajectory until a rotation spot with the big club opens up. Boston also hasn't ruled out bringing him back as a member of the big-league bullpen.

Abreu is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Abreu is typically featured in the lineup against right-handed pitching, but he'll head to the bench Sunday with Ryan Pepiot on the hill for Tampa Bay. As a result of Masataka Yoshida's inclusion in the lineup at DH, Roman Anthony will get the nod in right field in place of Abreu, who went 2-for-13 with a home run and two walks while starting each of the previous four contests.

Toro is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Romy Gonzalez will step in at first base for Boston while Toro heads to the bench after starting each of the last three contests. He's gone 0-for-13 over his last four contests to bring his batting average down to .271, and it wouldn't be surprising if he began to lose out on at-bats to the hot-hitting Gonzalez coming out of the All-Star break. Over his last 10 games, Gonzalez is slashing .436/.442/.897 with 10 extra-base hits, 12 RBI and 11 runs.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Narvaez will get a breather for the Red Sox's final contest before the All-Star break after he started behind the plate each of the previous three games. Connor Wong will get the nod at catcher. Narvaez will close out the first half with a .273 batting average, eight home runs, one stolen base, 31 RBI and 38 runs over 73 games.

The Orioles recalled Wolfram from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

The left-hander was up with Baltimore for Thursday's doubleheader against the Mets and is back with the club for the final game of the first half Sunday. Wolfram has appeared in three games for the Orioles this season and has given up two earned runs with a 5:2 K:BB over 3.1 innings.

Duran started at first base and went 0-for-4 in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Astros.

Duran struck out four times and has endured a tough stretch over the last three weeks, going 2-for-24 (.083) across 13 games (29.6 percent strikeout rate). He might normally start at third base against a lefty, but Duran was needed to cover first base for Jake Burger (quadriceps). Duran is batting .130 with a .395 OPS in 38 games for the Rangers.
