Pena went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, an RBI and a run scored Monday against the Angels.

Pena played a big role in the Astros' eight-run performance Tuesday, leading off the third inning with a double before coming around to score. Three frames later, he drove in a run with another two-base hit. Pena has multiple hits in five of his last 10 starts, also tallying six RBI and five runs scored in that span.

Garcia suffered a quadriceps injury in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Garcia torqued his quad while beating out a potential double play at first base in the top of the ninth inning, ultimately remaining in the contest. The outfielder is set to be evaluated Tuesday, and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Langford went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.

Langford has homered five times and added 10 RBI over his last 15 games, batting .340 (18-for-53) in that span. He tied the game at 3-3 in the sixth inning with his homer Monday. For the season, the outfielder has 21 homers, 58 RBI, 68 runs scored, 18 stolen bases and 22 doubles while slashing .249/.343/.444 over 117 contests.

Freeman went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and a walk in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.

Freeman has filled a short-side platoon role at second base since Marcus Semien (foot) exited the lineup, though he was in the lineup versus a right-hander (Ryne Nelson) in this contest. Freeman is batting .225 over his first 15 major-league games, adding two homers, seven RBI, two doubles, six runs scored and no stolen bases over 42 plate appearances. He'll need to find more consistency at the plate to carve out a larger role even with the absences of Semien and Corey Seager (appendectomy).

Martin (2-6) allowed a hit and struck out one in one inning to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Martin was back on a major-league mound for the first time since July 20 after missing six weeks due to a calf strain. He kept this game tied in the ninth inning -- that's typically usage a closer would see, but Shawn Armstrong got the save in the 10th inning and appears to be the head of a closing committee currently. Martin should still factor into the late-inning mix, but he's been a setup man for much of the year, earning two saves, 12 holds and two blown saves over 40 appearances. He also has a 2.29 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 37:6 K:BB across 35.1 innings.

Armstrong struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.

Armstrong picked up his third save in his last six appearances when he shut the door in the 10th inning. His 11.2-inning scoreless streak was snapped Sunday versus the Athletics, but the right-hander has been one of the Rangers' steadiest bullpen arms lately. He's now at a 2.51 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 63:18 K:BB while adding six saves, 10 holds and three blown saves over 61 innings.

Corbin allowed five runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Corbin gave up three solo home runs over the first two innings. He hadn't allowed multiple homers in a start since May 25 versus the White Sox, though he has now given up seven long balls over his last six starts. Corbin posted a 7.17 ERA over 21.1 innings in August and is off to a similarly rough beginning in September. For the season, he's at a 4.48 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 114:44 K:BB through 136.2 innings over 26 starts. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Astros this weekend.

Soderstrom went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Monday's win over the Cardinals.

Soderstrom was a big factor in pushing the Athletics' lead into blowout territory Monday. The 23-year-old has spent most of his defensive time in left field this season but started at first base with Nick Kurtz (oblique) still sidelined. Regardless of where he's positioned, Soderstrom's bat has been a constant, as he's hitting .271/.344/.470 with an .814 OPS, 28 doubles, 23 homers and 81 RBI across 138 games this season.

Gelof went 3-for-5 with a double, a solo home run, an additional run scored and was caught stealing in Monday's win over the Cardinals.

Gelof contributed to the Athletics' blowout win Monday with his second homer and second double of the season. His 2025 campaign has been derailed by wrist and rib injuries, keeping him in the minors more than the majors to this point. Since being recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Aug. 25, the 25-year-old is 7-for-27 (.259), with all four of his extra-base hits and five of his six RBI on the year coming during the seven-game stretch.

Bleday went 2-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and an additional run scored in Monday's 11-3 win over St. Louis.

Bleday delivered his first multi-homer game of the season Monday in a blowout win. The outfielder has bounced between Triple-A Las Vegas and Sacramento this year with uneven results, but the power has creeped up lately as he's slashed .230/.302/.460 with five homers and 11 RBI over his last 30 games.
