Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Pops first homer of 2023
Bichette went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Royals.
Remarkably, it's the first home run of the season for a Blue Jays team that was one of only seven last year to launch 200 or more. Bichette's had a great start at the plate, going 8-for-19 (.421) with a double, two RBI and three runs scored in addition to Monday's blast, and the 25-year-old shortstop will look to take his production to another level in 2023 after slashing a combined .294/.338/.477 over the last two seasons with 53 homers and 38 steals.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Marlins' Joey Wendle: Goes on IL
The Marlins placed Wendle on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right intercostal strain, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.
Wendle was scratched from the Marlins' lineup Monday because of the injury and can now probably be ruled out through at least mid-April. Jon Berti figures to handle the bulk of starts at shortstop in the meantime and offers excellent speed to go along with his increase in playing time. Wendle was 0-for-8 with one walk and two strikeouts through four games played this year.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Starting at shortstop again
Berti is starting at shortstop and batting ninth Tuesday against the Twins.
Berti is getting his second straight start at the position while Joey Wendle battles an intercostal strain that resulted in him being placed on the 10-day injured list. With his great speed, Berti should see a significant boost in fantasy value now that he appears set to play regularly in the middle infield. He racked up a major-league-best 41 steals in 102 games last season.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Marlins' Joey Wendle: Out again Tuesday
Wendle (oblique) is not in the Marlins' starting lineup Tuesday against the Twins.
Wendle was scratched Monday due to oblique soreness and could be looking at an IL stint if the issue lingers any longer. Jon Berti will start at shortstop and bat ninth Tuesday night against the Twins and right-hander Kenta Maeda.
