Crawford told reporters after Tuesday's game that X-rays returned negative on his right shoulder, but he will likely undergo an MRI on Wednesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

The shortstop told reporters that he could barely lift his right arm after colliding with Harrison Bader in the early innings on a play at second base, and Divish notes Crawford was clearly in discomfort postgame. Crawford is listed as day-to-day for now, but his status for Wednesday's game -- and games immediately following -- is certainly in doubt for the time being.

Crawford was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Yankees with a right shoulder contusion, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports. He went 0-for-2 before exiting.

Crawford was unable to continue after grounding out in the third inning. The shortstop should be considered day-to-day for now, and Dylan Moore has taken over at shortstop with Crawford out of the lineup.

Crawford left Tuesday's game against the Yankees in the third inning, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

There's no word as to why Crawford left, but it's worth noting that he dealt with a knee injury not long ago. Dylan Moore has taken over at shortstop in Crawford's place, and there should be an update as to why the veteran infielder exited the game shortly.

Reyes was scratched from the Red Sox lineup for Tuesday's game against Minnesota with right abdominal soreness, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

The severity of Reyes' injury is unclear, but it's apparently enough to keep him out of Tuesday's game. The Red Sox will likely provide more updates on his status in the near future. Meanwhile, Enrique Hernandez will slide over to cover shortstop while Christian Arroyo enters at second base and bats seventh.

Neto (oblique) said Tuesday that he has yet to resume baseball activities, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Neto was placed on the 10-day injured list last Thursday with a left oblique strain, and his absence from the Angels' active roster could very well extend into July. The light-hitting Andrew Velazquez continues to fill in at shortstop.

Schmitt (arm) will sit Tuesday versus the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Schmitt will miss a second consecutive contest after being hit in the arm by a pitch Sunday versus the Dodgers, but considering he was able to log two plate appearances in Monday's extra-inning win, the 24-year-old seems to be on the cusp of a return. Brandon Crawford will draw another start at shortstop and bat seventh against San Diego.

Anderson (shoulder) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

It's the third straight start Anderson has missed due to right shoulder soreness. He's considered day-to-day and it's possible he'll be ready to play Wednesday, but with an off day Thursday, it might make sense for the White Sox to go ahead and hold him out until Friday. Elvis Andrus will again handle shortstop Tuesday while Zach Remillard takes over at second base.

Wendle is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Blue Jays.

Jacob Amaya will cover shortstop and bat ninth with left-hander Yusei Kikuchi toeing the slab for Toronto. The left-handed-hitting Wendle has drawn only eight plate appearances versus southpaws this year.

Witt went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Tigers.

Witt hit a home run and stole a base in the same game for the third time this year. It was the 23-year-old's sixth multi-hit outing of June, and he's slashing .323/.373/.452 during that 16-game stretch. His overall slash line (.248/.289/.434) could still use some work, but Witt has 12 home runs and 22 stolen bases through 71 games (308 plate appearances), giving him a formidable and well-rounded fantasy ceiling.

Mauricio (ankle) returned to the Triple-A Syracuse lineup Wednesday and has appeared in each of the affiliate's last five games, going 8-for-21 with three home runs, three walks, six RBI, four runs and two stolen bases during that stretch.

Mauricio had been tending to a bone bruise in his left ankle coming out of a June 10 doubleheader, but he missed only a few days before he was cleared to resume playing. The 22-year-old switch-hitting middle infielder has immediately resumed raking at Syracuse and is now holding down a .325/.368/.546 slash line across 291 plate appearances this season. In addition to seeing time at both second base and shortstop, Mauricio has also picked up three starts in left field, giving him another potential pathway to playing time when the Mets likely bring him up to the big leagues at some point later this summer.
