Milwaukee activated Adames (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Wednesday.

Adames will return to action for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, less than two weeks after getting struck in the head by an errant foul ball while he was sitting in the dugout. Brice Turang was optioned to Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding roster move.

Pena is absent from the lineup Wednesday at Toronto.

Mauricio Dubon will start at shortstop and bat leadoff versus the Blue Jays and right-hander Chris Bassitt. Pena struck out in all four of his plate appearances Tuesday as the Astros fell 5-1 to the Jays.

Duran is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Cardinals.

Duran has now started three of five contests since returning from the injured list. The Rangers will go with Josh Smith in left field and Jonah Heim at designated hitter while Sandy Leon catches for starting pitcher Jon Gray.

Edman went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Edman wound up stealing his ninth base of the year after walking in the sixth. He leads the Cardinals in steals but otherwise has lacked steady production at the plate. His last RBI was back on May 23 and he's notched just six hits in 12 games since then. For the year, the 28-year-old switch hitter is slashing .255/.316/.432 with six homers, 21 RBI, 30 runs and a 16:31 BB:K over 214 plate appearances.

Perdomo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

With an .855 OPS over 167 plate appearances on the season, the switch-hitting Perdomo has worked his way out of a strict platoon with Nick Ahmed, but the Diamondbacks will still hold Perdomo out of the lineup against left-handed pitching occasionally. Perdomo, who went 1-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 10-5 win, will give way to Ahmed at shortstop Wednesday while southpaw Patrick Corbin takes the hill for Washington.

Bogaerts (wrist) is not in the starting lineup against Seattle on Wednesday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Bogaerts will get at least one more game off as he deals with the soreness in his left wrist that has kept him out since Sunday. The shortstop is hopeful he can avoid a stint on the injured list, but if he can't return by Friday, the Padres may need to place the infielder on the shelf so they're not playing a man short. Ha-Seong Kim is playing shortstop with Jake Cronenworth at second base for Wednesday's finale against the Mariners.

Duran went 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals.

Duran notched a trio of base hits, marking his fourth three-hit effort of the season. The 24-year-old started at shortstop Tuesday after he played left field in his other two starts since coming off the injured list Saturday. His versatility in the field along with his plate skills have allowed him to play in a near-everyday role in the league's top run-scoring offense, though he's been consistently slotted in at the bottom third of the Rangers' lineup. Duran is now slashing .322/.374/.531 with seven homers, 24 RBI, 23 runs and an 8:35 BB:K over 155 plate appearances.

Marcano will sit Wednesday against Oakland, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Marcano will head to the bench as the Pirates face southpaw Hogan Harris on the mound. Rodolfo Castro will slide over to shortstop while Mark Mathias enters the lineup at second base and bats seventh in the series finale with the Athletics.

Wendle went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Tuesday's win over Kansas City.

Wendle has now hit safely in his last four games, going 8-for-16 with four doubles in that span. His recent hot stretch boosts his slash line to .250/.325/.389 through 82 plate appearances this season. The veteran shortstop has five RBI, 10 runs scored and a stolen base in his second year with Miami.

De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Dodgers.

De La Cruz's first career MLB hit was a 112-mph double to the gap in right-center field, which is already the hardest-hit ball by any Reds player this season. He showcased his patience by drawing two walks and also recorded a sprint speed of 30.4 feet per second. He has all the tools to be a star and should be a set-it-and-forget-it player in fantasy lineups now that he's up in the majors for good.
