Arcia went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and an additional run scored during Tuesday's win over the Astros.

Arcia's put together seven multi-hit games thus far; however, it took the shortstop 16 games to notch his first long ball of the season. Despite the lack of home-run production, Arcia has still been putting up solid power numbers. He's generated seven doubles and boasts a .544 slugging percentage which, as it stands, would be a career high.

Henderson went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 11-3 victory over Minnesota.

It's the third straight multi-hit game for Henderson -- he's gone 7-for-12 with two homers and five RBI in that span. The 22-year-old shortstop boosted his slash line to .275/.338/.565 with five homers, four stolen bases, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored through his first 17 games this season.

Kim went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Brewers.

Kim swatted a three-run home run off Wade Miley in the first inning, plating Fernando Tatis and Jurickson Profar as part of Kim's second three-RBI game of the season. Over his last nine games, Kim is batting .258 with a pair of home runs, eight RBI and seven runs scored.

The Orioles designated Soto for assignment Tuesday.

Soto has now been designated for assignment four times since the beginning of February -- twice by both the Orioles and Angels. He'll go through the waiver process and could perhaps draw interest from the Halos again, or another organization may be willing to take a chance on the 23-year-old infielder.

Guillorme will start at second base and bat eighth Tuesday against the Astros.

The 29-year-old saw his first plate appearances of the season Monday, going 1-for-3 with two strikeouts, and he's now poised for more playing time after Ozzie Albies (toe) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Guillorme could fill the large side of a platoon at second base along with David Fletcher, who replaced Albies on the major-league roster.

Cruz, who was originally slated for a day off, is now in the Pirates' lineup and hitting seventh versus the Mets on Tuesday.

Cruz was initially not in the lineup Tuesday with southpaw Jose Quintana on the mound for the Mets, but the change in plans is a result of Ke'Bryan Hayes's late scratch for a yet-to-be-revealed reason.

Gonzalez (wrist) fielded grounders Tuesday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Gonzalez is working his way back from a left wrist sprain, so being able to take grounders with his injured hand would appear to be a good sign. He's eligible to return Sunday and the hope is that he could be back by then or shortly after.

Cruz is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Southpaw Jose Quintana is toeing the rubber for the Mets, so Pirates manager Derek Shelton felt this was a good time to give the left-handed hitting Cruz a breather. The fact that Cruz is 0-for-9 with seven strikeouts over the last two games was probably also a factor. Alika Williams will fill in at shortstop Tuesday.

Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Monday's win over the Pirates.

It's been a tough start to the campaign for the shortstop, but Lindor is beginning to come around. He's delivered back-to-back two-hit games, and over the last eight contests he's batting .257 (9-for-35) with two doubles, a homer, four RBI, six runs and a sharp 4:1 BB:K.

Alexander leads all shortstops with minus-6 outs above average, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

Geraldo Perdomo's knee injury presented an opportunity for Alexander, and while the infielder has hit well, his fielding could cost him starts. He had miscues during the team's road trip in Atlanta, which prompted a meeting with manager Torey Lovullo, who reassured the shortstop that he loves his game but there's work to do. Infield coach Tony Perezchica is confident in Alexander's range but emphasized the need to make the routine plays. Thus far, Alexander hasn't let the defense affect his offense (.286/.359/.457).
