Adames went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored during Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.

Adames recorded his second multi-hit effort of the season after a three-game stretch in which he went 0-for-10. The 29-year-old shortstop singled in the sixth inning and came around to score his third run over his last three games. He later followed up with a double down the left-field line during the ninth. Adames is slashing .196/.270/.250 with three doubles, six RBI, a stolen base and a 6:16 BB:K across 63 plate appearances this season.

Bichette went 3-for-5 with an RBI single in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Orioles.

Bichette took the first pitch he saw to center field for a double, and two pitches later he came across home plate on a Vladimir Guerrero RBI double to give the Blue Jays the early lead. Saturday marked the fourth time this season that Bichette has logged at least three hits. He's begun the season slashing .313/.366/.391 with no homers or steals but six runs scored, five doubles and nine RBI across 70 plate appearances.

The Nationals recalled Nunez from Triple-A Rochester on Saturday.

Nunez wasn't able to make the Nationals' Opening Day roster despite a strong showing in spring training, but he'll be called up to the big club following the placement of CJ Abrams (hip) on the 10-day injured list. Nunez was slashing .192/.323/.192 with five stolen bases and three RBI across 31 plate appearances in Triple-A before his promotion to the majors.

The Nationals placed Abrams on the 10-day injured list Saturday due to a right hip flexor strain.

Abrams missed two games earlier in the week due to a right hip issue, and he aggravated the injury while stealing second base against the Marlins on Friday. He was evaluated by Nationals' medical staff Saturday, and it was determined that the severity of the injury warranted his placement on the injured list, though manager Davey Martinez appeared optimistic that Abrams won't need more than the minimum stint on the IL, per Bobby Blanco of MASN Sports. In Abrams' absence, the Nationals could turn to Paul DeJong to slide over from third base to shortstop, which would give Jose Tena and Amed Rosario more opportunities to get some starts at the hot corner. Nasim Nunez was recalled from Triple-A Rochester in a corresponding move, and he could see some reps in the infield due to Abrams' absence.

The White Sox recalled Jones from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Jones was sent down to the minors Friday in order to make room for Chase Meidroth, but he'll now return to the White Sox to make up for the loss of Austin Slater (knee). Jones has slashed .129/.270/.258 with five RBI and four stolen bases across nine Triple-A games this season.

Arcia is not in Atlanta's starting lineup against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Arcia went 0-for-4 in Friday's series opener, and he'll begin Saturday's contest in the dugout while Nick Allen gets the start at shortstop. Arcia has started the season slashing .208/.240/.250 with one RBI across 25 plate appearances.

The Cardinals placed Winn on the 10-day injured list Saturday due to lower-back spasms, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Winn believed he wouldn't need to spend time on the IL after exiting Friday's game early because of his back, but evidently, the Cardinals' front office disagreed. If his injury truly is minor, he should have a good chance to be activated when eligible April 22. Until then, Thomas Saggese will start regularly at shortstop. Winn's move to the injured list opens a roster spot for Nolan Gorman (hamstring), who was activated from the IL in a corresponding move.

Bogaerts went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and a stolen base in Friday's 8-0 win against Colorado.

Bogaerts scored the game's first run in the fifth inning when he began the frame with a single, stole second base and came around to score on a Jose Iglesias base knock. After batting just .264 (his lowest mark since 2014) during the regular season last year, Bogaerts has gotten off to a strong start in 2025, slashing .306/.397/.388 through 58 plate appearances. He doesn't have a home run yet, but Bogaerts has contributed four doubles and four steals while walking at a 12.5 percent clip.

Amaya went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Red Sox on Friday.

Amaya has started six straight games at shortstop and 11 of 13 games overall. He's struggled mightily, collecting only four hits across 33 at-bats, though he managed his first extra-base hit of the season Friday to account for his two RBI. The addition of Chase Meidroth could threaten Amaya's playing time, though the White Sox have a number of moving pieces, so the situation will be worth monitoring.

Meidroth went 1-for-1 with three walks and a run scored Friday against the Red Sox.

The White Sox selected Meidroth's contract before Friday's game, and he slotted in seventh in the order while playing second base. He enjoyed a strong debut, which was indicative of his high-contact and patient approach at the plate. He offers limited power but could contribute double-digit steals with regular playing time.
